Nothing's certain. Even if walker does play there will be plenty of chances for Trippier to impress.
Tbh, I'm assumed walker was going to miss a bit of pre season (if not all of it) so I'm just glad he's back and looking fit.

That was our most gutless performance of last season (and there's a few contenders)
Bentaleb and Mason, who both had very good seasons, were pretty bad in that one, for example.
In fact, I'm counting on those 2 (Mason probably won't make it) to be bang up for this one. Bentaleb strikes me as the kinda guy who'd be pissed off with his performance in that one and will use it as motivation going into Saturday.

We sold all these players yet it's still difficult to name a match-day squad without leaving some people at home who you would want at least on the bench: Andros, Yedlin, Carroll, Pritch when fit, Wimmer, Fazio, Winks, Onomah, Oduwa, Veljkovic, - also Fredericks, Walker-Peters...
As I'd go with Trippier this week, I'd probably even drop Walker out from the bench because Yedlin can do RB or RW while the bench is so tight for places. While the same thing goes for Trippier when walker plays. The same way we will probably see Davies not making the bench when Rose plays as Verts can fill in.
Tough calls!
Think the following (at least) need a high-profile loan for regular competitive games: Winks, Oduwa and Veljkovic, Fredericks.

All the hate on Walker i dont get it. Was probably our best player against Real Madrid with Alli.
He also said in an i-view that this season was the biggest of his career.

I'd be stunned if Lamela starts given he played in both games, badly by all accounts.

Lamela should not be anywhere near a Spurs team. May as well play with 10 men when he is in the team,a total liability and should be sold

No, it's still 4231. The front 4 were just rotating properly like they should and mucking in defensively like they should today.
We'll see more proper rotation through positions now as poch's system is soaking in properly.
The flexibility of 4231 gives you the ability to modulate through different shapes in-game. 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 should always be the defensive shape but that hasn't happened as our wing forwards haven't tracked back properly. That will have to change this season.
