Its a feck of a lot better than it was last season but with TWO egg seizing teams playing on there it's always going to be pretty crap!

I want us to take the FA cup seriously this year... and this is not the sort of game you throw kids out there. They're (Newport) going to be physical and bruising. We need to be smart.

We need to match them physically in the first half... especially the first 20 minutes. They'll be riding a wave of adrenaline, and the crowd will be right behind them. We need to go toe-to-toe and earn the right to play. We can't do that by throwing inexperience into the engine room. If we were playing them at 'home' we could get away with it. But on a turgid field, against a thuggery side, backed by a ferocious, partisan crowd... we need to stand tall, and use our experience to get through the game.
