Surprised not many have included N'Koudou, this of any game will be ideal for him

Lloris
Aurier Aldewiereld Sanchez Davies
Winks Dier
Son Kane Nkoudou
Llorente

Would take Nkoudou over Sissoko on the wing any day but Sissoko does a good job for us at CM. Think Winks will be more useful in a European game when more technique required compared to the premier league where Sissoko's physical attributes are more useful

GKN has only just come back from injury and will therefore not be match fit and we need to win this game. I expect him to come on for the last 15 minutes.

I think if we could rest Harry for this game that would be ideal but I dont want to overlook the Cypriots not sure how good they are but any chance to rest Kane I would use it.
Good point on one hand, but I don't think this is one of those chances. Who'd say to their star striker "Nope, you are not getting this opportunity to add CL goals to your tally". CL is what we have been aiming for during the last decade, and superstars simply should play.

Anything but the strongest available side will be severely disappointing on Pochettino's part, especially given the fact that several key players are unavailable.

That's a pretty good prediction but agree with others that Sissoko is a shoe-in to start given his form and the number of injuries. If we assume Lloris, Aldeweireld, Sanchez, Dier, Davies, Son, Sissoko and Kane are now guaranteed starters, we just need to work out the other three. I reckon Aurier will start because Trippier has to start at the weekend. It's either 4-5-1 or some variation of 3-5-1-1. Therefore, I see something like this as it's the only way to field an 11 with everyone starting in a position they are strong in:

Lloris

Alderwiereld Sanchez Dier

Aurier ---- Winks -- Sissoko ---- Davies

Kane ------ Son

Llorente

The other option would be to shift Dier to Sissoko, who in turn takes Kane's position, who in turn goes up front. And then we put Foyth in defence. But it may be too soon for the Argentine.

If we played that XI it would be a back 4 and Dier in midfield.

Some people really do think that apoel are complete garbage. Its going to be extreemly tough and we really arent garanteed anything.

Would i be suprised if we fall flat on our faces and drop points?.....no.

I see why people are suggesting Kane in a deeper role and Llorente up top, but i don't think it would be a good move. We are already missing most of our best players, i don't see much sense in playing our remaining 'best player' out of position.

Kane drops deep to get involved in the buildup anyway. I wouldn't expect that his heat map would look significantly different than normal if he were paired with Llorente or played in a front three along with Son.

This tricky game has now turned into a very tough game, a real test of our squad and our ability to adapt to different and difficult circumstances.

Any kind of win we can come out with should be applauded and appreciated.

Champions league is not time to rest players like Kane lol as this is the stage that both he and the club need.

It is a tricky one but id just handle it by subbing him earlier in games where we look like we've secured the win and resting him in league cup games.

No Eriksen is a blow, shame as this would be a time we'd look to likes of Lamela to step in if he was fit and shows what an option he'd be.

Will be interesting to see what we do to compensate.
