So the scenario is, start Hugo and upset Vorm or start Vorm and risk upsetting Hugo.

Only one winner there sorry Michelle.

Fazio is class, Costa is scared of him so I would pick him over Dier.

As for Vorm and Lloris, It's not a question, start Friedel.

I've spent a few minutes considering whether Poch is a complete idiot or not.

I've concluded that he's not.

Lloris is in goal tomorrow.

Lloris

Walker Dier Vertonghen Rose

Dembele Bentaleb

Lamela Eriksen Chadli

Kane
I think the above is our best mix of attacking talent that press and work hard, plus a bit more physicality in the center of the pitch. It has been largely overlooked here, but outside of the 2nd half against Arsenal, Mason's form really hasn't been great since late November. His fast transitional passing hasn't been there of late, and Poch has actually substituted him the last 6 times he's started. He also has a tendency to go flying into tackles and in an emotional game like this, that's a big no no, as you can just foresee us getting a red card after Mourinho protestations in recent months.

Dembele and Chadli have to start in this game in my opinion, with Townsend/Lamela to come off the bench. Dembele can hang onto the ball and provide a bit of strength, chadli even if quiet is always a chance of nabbing a cheeky goal.

That's the team @thinktank

I think anyone picking the team based on the league game is reading too much into what happened that night. Tactically it was a bit of mess, and the reason we won was that the crucial moments went our way, we finished nearly all our chances and they wasted a few of theirs, and we still conceded 3. For the neutral it was an incredibly entertaining jamboree of a game, but Arsenal and Liverpool were much, much better performances.

I get the point @mpickard2087 makes about getting the the wide forwards, in this case Lamela to stay a bit wider at times and stretch the pitch a bit, but apart from that we need to replicate the Arsenal or Liverpool performance, get about them. High energy and tempo and work, work, work.

Chadli was excellent against Chelsea and must start. Along with Kane and Eriksen he offers a potent scoring threat. Lamela simply doesn't. The choice for the 3rd AM spot should be between Lamela, Townsend and Dembele. I am not too fussed about which one of those 3 plays. In spite of what you say I wouldn't change an attack that scored 5 against the best team in the country and for that reason, plus his penalty taking and positive Wembley experience I would start with Townsend.
