This is the one based on nothing more than it being the most aesthetically pleasing. You could have Doherty in there four times and I still wouldn't care.

Same as v Brighton works for me. If Dier or Skipp fit they can come in for Sánchez &/or Winks. But happy to ease the new lads in gradually and as needs must.

I agree, but the team I usually put out is the team I would like to see, not second guessing Conte.

The thing is everybody can probably see that he’s not good enough… long term. As it stands though the alternatives are winks who is nowhere near, Skipp who is still figuring himself out and Bentancur who’s been here for 5 minutes. If it was me the preferred two would be Bentancur and Hoijberg with Skipp being a heavily used third rotation. So for the time being Hoijberg still deserves a place in most of our starting line ups.

We're getting to a point where it's hard (and a bit unfair) to drop players. It's about time we were in this situation too and that we had fierce competition for every place. It shows that we're making progress and developing proper strength in depth.

352 worked well against pool & Leicester and think saints play a similar style.
Bentancur on the left of a 3 would be more balanced than before as none of our other midfielders are comfortable on that side.

He is our best CM by far (let’s see Bentacur here) and gets a lot of unwarranted stick by people like you and in the match thread. It’s disgusting. Meanwhile the praise for Skipp is massive when he’s in fact very average but have room to grow, and this isn’t a dig at Skipp as I like him.
