I'll agree to disagree.

After cooling off a bit overnight, I'll take back some of what I said.

Ramos wasn't getting the results, but he was still the only manager we've had that has made Wenger sweat, and Fergie panic.

I'll give Redknapp a chance too...

Really? I distinctly remember Jol making Wenger sweat for a whole season and Im sure Fergie had a moment of panic when Mendes put the ball two yards over the line from the halfway mark?

Ramos was no better for us than George Graham. No boots here to fill whatsoever.

Dear friends

The greatness of football involves the acceptance of all rules of a sporting event that is still a game.

After almost twenty years in the profession know the unwritten rules of football and that's why I accept the decision of the heads of Tottenham Hotspur at the time but now it's goodbye I want to thank and bid farewell to the entire family of the Spurs.

The coincidence would have it made exactly a year of my entry into English football and today is when I head to all of you to say thank you and goodbye.

We arrived with maximum enthusiasm to a team in decline zone in a situation similar to that found at this time and we had a nice start that we ranked in the middle of table. In addition we were able to qualify for Europe that seemed almost impossible. We got it with a great effort from the whole team despite the enormous difficulties that we had.

Met also the difficult challenge of winning a title after nine years without tasting success was a tremendous joy for the entire organization and the fans. We can catalog of wildly successful last season.

In the summer we live a hectic preseason for staff changes, which prevented us from working with the reassurance that deserves a summer preparation. Besides the youthfulness of some of the additions in spite of their quality you need a period of maturation and adaptation to the urgency of the competition they have not been granted yet.

Besides the progress of Robbie Keane and Berbatov, footballers reference of the team for its technical quality and their effectiveness and human scorer, was a blow too strong for the group. All this has led to a situation that I want to be reversed as soon as possible because the organization and the fans deserve it.

Therefore, now that I say goodbye, I want to express my great gratitude to the fans of the Spurs. Their excellent reception, their respect, their affection and even your criticism. I have made happy for many months and just feel not being able to offer more evening of dreams like that of February at Wembley. Whenever you have been with the team and my most extensive and comprehensive appreciation for your unwavering encouragement.

I also want to send my most dear to all members of the entity. A whole family that makes up the Tottenham Hotspur in this group of workers without whom nothing would operate them. To you, I have tried both professional and personally an excellent way, thank you very much and my eternal affection.

And, lastly, I want to thank the Tottenham directive and the opportunity they have given me to live a dream. Coaching in the cradle of soccer, feel and experience the excitement of the Premier League. Thank you.

Thank you all, adios and TO DARE IS TO DO ... COME ON YOU SPURS

Both will be missed....VERY much so. Ramos etc has taken the bullet for incompetence on the part of Levi and his 'band'. Ofcourse, not being 'au-fait' with the internal politics (the real Levi etc) I can never be 100% correct. However, Ramos is a GREAT manager...in Spain, and throughout Europe....but 'circumstances' led to a disaster in the EPL. It 'should' have been a new GLORY GLORY period....but...'those in the driving seats' at WHL blew it, big tome' and we are back to -10 (1999ish). Anyway, what is 10 years among Yid's? lol. Harry may bring us respectability but not 'serious' success (a-la-Ferguson etc).
The next few games will be 'telling' in the NEW regime at WHL. Sadly, anything LESS than 3 points against Scum and 3 against Scouserville Town will not 'light' many fires? At best we can dream tonight....but the damage has been done and the 22 point gap is too much....but....what about next year lol? COYS!

Thanks Ramos for being crapper than George Graham.

Thanks a lot.

Loser.
I don't know how long you've supported Spurs but perhaps you should talk to some Newcastle fans. When we won the cup (and the way we won it) I can tell you they were incredibly envious.

Classy guy
I fully agree - real class, whatever the motivations - he didn't have to send a message to the Spurs fans.
