And the worst thing is Newcastle fans were still completely behind their manager!

Yeah but they dont include pre-season friendlies in that. Everyone knows we are the best pre-season team in England.

Well if we keep this up Dawson and Huddleston will be playing in their natural enviroment.

i think our situation is even worse then most people think. I feel there is avery real danger of relegation because we have quite simply shown no reason why we are going to end this slump.

Only team in the league not to win, lost all home games, not scored more then one goal in a match, created few clear-cut chances and are still defending poorly. What's worse is these records stretch from last season so this not a blip but a pattern. Im not in any way saying get rid of ramos but what is going on. atm we are terrible. Theres no bad luck, we should actually have 0 points because chelsea created enough to beat us comfortably.

We are losing comfortably to teams we should, with our aspirations, be beating comfortably. Another long and disappointing season in store i fear.

Actually this is pretty scary reading, in fact this is piss poor, we are only 1 point above Newcastle!

I don't want to see us relegated and I don't think we will get relegated - but I must admit I can't see it as the tragedy I once would have viewed it at - it might clear away a lot of fans who just moan moan moan (this is not a go at anyone on this thread incidentally - it's about tooooooooo many of our paying fans)

maybe it would get to be enjoyable at the Lane again

I'd rather see us play Reading with a good crowd than Sunderland or Villa and moan moan ****ing moan

of course if we were in the Championship the same ole moaners might still go along - but maybe jes maybe some of them would disappear

probably it's all too late - the mass singing and the chanting except for the occasional night like the 5-1 seem to have gone missing almost permanently

I'm forever grateul to JR that I witnessed it in person just one last time this decade - cos I don't know we'll since it again this decade

I'm glad I'm not the only one who's thought this

It's slipped into my mind a few times "I hope we get relegated so I can get a season ticket" then felt really bad and punched myself in the face!

But it's crazy, when I go down to United, the football is dire, some of the players complete toilet, the stadium is collapsing, the tickets (relatively, in terms of the league) expensive, and you barely hear ANY moaning... of course there's a bit when a player misplaces a pass... its the natural reaction, but its all forgotten straight away, there's none of the people who sit behind you telling Jenas he's shit for 90 minutes!

Last week, it was heavy wind/rain, we were playing Wrexham, and the singing didn't stop for 90 mins except about 5 minutes in the second half...

I'm guessing the three missing teams all went down...

I wonder how many points they are behind us? Not too many I'm sure.

These stats are shocking for a club supposedly with CL aspirations.

Never mind 2009 is only 4 months away then these stats won't matter.

At least our 3 next domestic games are easy:

Wigan - H
Newcastle - A
Pompey - A

Yeah I remember the good old days when people didn't moan so much and everything was hunkydory and crisps cost 10p and I used to sit on the step outside the pub while me mum had a booze inside, and Tucker was on Grange Hill and Big Daddy battered Giant Haystacks and Evel Knievel and Alex Higgins were my heroes and I was ten years old etc etc zzzzzzzzzzzzz

DC do you really really think that things were ever the way you describe them except for 5 minutes in the early 60's and early 80's?

I've been going to Spurs for 25 years and there have always been moaners mate. It's usually worse when we are s**t (surprise, surprise) but they are there. If you think getting relegated will change that then you are wrong I'm afraid. I think you either have to accept that there are many people who go to WHL who you don't agree with OR stop going altogether.

Not yet, maybe next week after Heskey hammers home a bullet header to sink us Sunday

well, fortunately 4 of the next 5 league games are against crap opposition. We'll see how much trouble we're in at the end of October.
