How was Yedlin? Seen a few tweets saying that his crossing was good and he looked solid defensively.
i thought he was ok - but I did not see most of the 1st half. Made some nice runs, seemed to be positionally sound (got beat once that I saw), a few good passes/crosses, a few bad first touches/passes/crosses.

Yeah I've been impressed with him in his outings. Glover is a good keeper, but he seems a bit shy. A vocal keeper is extremely valuable. Even me growing up playing as a midfielder, having a keeper I could hear at times was very useful.
Glover is the most vocal keeper we have at the Club, just wish we was a bit more vocal all over the pitch.

Looked good today, especially in attack, and was better defensively in the 2nd half than he was in the first. He should be in the first team right now but Vlad should be 1st choice RB. In attack, he stretches the defense, isnt afraid to get behind the defense and lays in good crosses. We dont have that threat in the first team from the right. He's a good option to have off the bench, IMO.

Did well - but having said that both FB's found space on the flanks with the centre being fairly congested.

Put in a number of decent crosses, but at times was marshalled fairly well by the Chelses player marking him.

Is he good enough for the first team - not sure, but I'd give him a few appearances off the bench in the remaining PL games and see how he does, especially if Walker is injured for a couple of weeks.

Yikes, maybe I have it all wrong, but from what I've seen McGee looks to be the one yelling the most and getting into players. But in terms of sheer keeper ability, I think as of this moment I'd still give the nod to Glover.

Was at a game when Glovers Mother was watching and she was getting very embarrassed because he would not shut up.

wow, i don't know whether i'm impressed with spurs or just unimpressed by chelsea, maybe a bit of both. the first 20 minutes of the 2nd half was like watching barcelona vs your generic big/athletic english side, seems that once the physicality gap narrows as they move up the years, chelsea suddenly don't seem so great? for all the hype and rep of the likes of brown, loftus-cheek, solanke, boga etc, they don't look a patch on ccv, amos, winks, miller ...

I wouldn't say the physicality gap has been reduced as only Akindayini looks like someone who'd be part of their team, I just think it's that Winks, Miller and our other smaller players have just adapted to playing against the bigger players.

RLC hasn't impressed me in the 2 u21s games we played against him this year but I do think he has something about him. Brown for me doesn't appear to have the skill to be a top winger for me and looks like he actually relies on his pace and power and that has been at all levels I have seen him. I think you need a trick to beat a man and if he keeps relying on his pace and power he will get found out.

I do think our players being smaller will help them in the future. If they do end up growing then cool, but if they can learn to negate the physical dominance of the opposition while still being small it can only help them in the future.

Amos is really having a Ball season from last year. Him growing has really helped him, plus he mentioned he had a couple of injuries last year but he has been performing really well this year.

Tbh all our youth keepers are vocal I think keepers have to be, and I'm speaking from having seen Voss, McGee, Archer and Glover in person. They definitely get their point across but I don't know what it is, may be the classic fiery red head think (though he's not that red) but Glover does seem a bit more shouty than the others.

Fair enough, it seems my samples were off then. I sit corrected.

Agreed, looks on another level to them, makes you wonder why he's not in our 11 already.

Being a key player, and playing a lot of games for Brentford is a better idea than sitting on a bench waiting for some minutes. If he's good enough, he will be in our starting 11 next season. I believe he has a good chance to make it, this loan has been very good for his development, and makes him ready for tough games. Hopefully we see more our youngsters getting this kind of loans. We should anyway give time to young players, and not wait too much from them. For example, I thought Rose is definitely going to be sold at some point and look now. Happy to be wrong about him.

I really like those 4 but all are a long way from the first team except maybe CCV because he just seems to rise to the challenge at every level.

Though he did make some mistakes if Im looking at him as a first team player like the chance where Brown chokeslammed Amo's

He got attracted to brown and ran out to him not noticing Boga was free as a result, which led to brown slipping him in

ahhhhh mad skill by Bennetts to score. Great play.

Ball over the top down the right, he backed into his defender to hold them off. Brought the ball down. Checked in on his left in the box to shoot, pulled off a roll and some sort of flick to get the ball on his right and put it through the keepers legs.
