Sterling Kaziah an u16s striker makes his U18S debut today Comming on as a substitute vs Aston villa, one to watch for the future #coys

I know it shouldn't bother me but the kid is a massive Scum fan and some of his tweets during the NLD had me wincing a bit.

Think its an age old problem - espacially for a 15/16 year old kid.

He might support one club, but actually find that a rival club offers the best career path going forward. I might love to work for Spurs, but if another football club offered me a good job, I'd need to consider it.

Dennis Bergkamp is widely runoured to have been a Spurs fan as a kid but actually join our rivals (apparantly our manager - Gerry Francis ? - didn't fancy him). Ugo Ehiogue (our new development coach) was a very good CB and a big Spurs fan - but played for Aston Villa and Middlesborough resisting the bandishment of Spurs).

Hopefully one of the Spurs coaches will have a word with him and suggest that he be more discrete and professional with his allegiances. However he seems to be very enthusiastic about his Spurs youth team

Sterling should still support the club he plays for. In every match.

That's what I'm suggesting the coaches talk to him about.

Elsewhere I'd settle for some of the first team playing foir the club, rather than just going through the motions !

I'very read on here a few times that Alex & Joe Pritchard are not related but a cording to a Paul Smith from Spurs Odyssey, they are brothers and he usually knows his stuff when it comes to our youth players.

About 2 years ago Windy asked Joe Pritchard whether he was related to Alex on twitter and he said no. Spurs have never commented. but I think they did refer to Alex and Darren McQueen were cousins. so I'd have thought they would have rferred to the.Pritchard's being brothers if it wre true.

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/second-year-academy/joe-pritchard/ Joe was born in/close to Watford

http://www.tottenhamhotspur.com/professionals-profiles/alex-pritchard/ Alex was born in Essex.

Not conclusive I know.

Just seen that - disappointing to say the least. Fair enough supporting another club, but ffs keep it to yourself man! Especially when it's your main rivals!!

How has the myth of Bergkamp being a spurs fan as a kid still being peddled? I could have sworn in interviews that Bergkamp stated he was a fan of Hoddle but not a Spurs fan.

Or was it that he was a spurs fan and then became a "hoddle fan" when he joined le arse to appease the fans?

Then why didn't he just say he wasn't a spurs fan when asked the question? Why come up with a story of only being a Hoddle fan?

to appease the arsenal fans:cautious:

Lets be honest this is the bullshit fans love. People hated Tim Sherwood because he said he was an Arsenal fan

It wasn't so much the celebrating Chamberlain's goal that irked but his "Eriksen looks pissed" comment that annoyed me.

If he progresses beyond YTS then I think these comments would need to stop. Perhaps he sees us as a stepping stone to the scum?

#spurs #coys #thfc - Alex Pritchard scored for Brentford today (on loan). His brother Joe played well for the U-18s - http://www.spursodyssey.com/1415/u18av041014.html
