He can't leave us now surely?

How many times do England play from now until the end of the season?

I'll be massively surprised if Harry completely left us right now. His thanks to the fans was really heartfelt and I don't think he'd leave because he finally got the love he wanted and deserved. Part time is more realistic but still unlikely. Pearce for 2 games then Harry in the summer. If we don't get Jose, which is gonna be extremely hard realistically, then I'll be fucked off. For me, it's either Harry or Jose. Maybe Hiddink would be nice too but again, unlikely.

I agree regarding Harry's heartfelt comments...although some skeptics (Dan etc) may think he was maybe softening the blow, being aware of what was going to happen today

Not all is lost folks.

Daniel Levy negotiated a profit on Didier Zokora. He negotiated to buy Rafa Van der Vaart for the same fee as we just sold Roman Pavlyuchenko for.

In order for the FA to take Harry from us, they might have to give us Wembley!

I think he'd be quite shocked at the resignation. Unless the FA had a word with the judge...

The players would love Harry in charge. Imagine the camp under Capello and imagine it under Harry. It'd be more Venables-esque and maybe bring more togetherness and success.

shame Harry thinks England is the pinnacle. Fergie has never had an interest in managing scotland for good reason.

England job will end badly for him, but hopefully spurs will be as good or better without him

I hope to God we can keep him until the end of the season but we'll be under the spotlight until then anyway...

Best scenario:

The FA acknowledges that England are shit.
Installs Stuart Pearce as Manager
Harry stays with us

I'd say Harry had other hints on his mind today tbh. No one thought or knew Cappello would resign.

Harry should either stay or go, part time would be a distraction, especially in media terms, plus I think Harry's media relationship might have taken a bit of a knock after the whole Beasley affair in his trial.
