You can see why Hales and Buttler don't get in the Test side anymore. Their dismissals in particular made a bad situation even worse, they were raising the white flag with those shots.

Bangladesh looking set for a big score here in the first match. Don't think England quite have the bowling attack to win this tournament, and so too much pressure on the batsmen. Hopefully this comment cues a collapse.....

I think most sides are batsmen strong and a bit weak in the bowling.
Who has a good bowling attack in this tournament?

Finished it off well, professional job well done and fair play to Captain Morgan.
Bit of a worry on the injury front though with Stokes, Root and Woakes...

Oh yeah, of course it's a batsman's game and in what are effectively all knockout games there isn't much between the teams and anything could happen. I just feel other teams have better strike bowlers, both quicks and spinners. Also feel that too many of them are prone to getting a bit ragged if a batsman gets in the groove.

Magnificent performance from Sri Lanka. Never expected them to chase that total down.

Good to see its competitive so far. Think the English conditions and weather is helping even things up. The games I have seen teams are being pretty cautious at the start, we're not seeing those 6/7/8 runs an over for the first power play that you often do these days, and so the scores of 350+ that leave the chase a massive task aren't occurring.

After the first round of group B matches, I nearly didn't watch the second round as I thought SA and India would win easily. Shows what I know.

Great win by Sri Lanka - and they didn't fluke it either. Solid scores from the batsmen.

I'm not a big lover of ODIs as I much prefer test matches but this tournament has been quite good.

Loving this result against the Aussies. How must they be feeling in their dressing room? 2 wash out games, finishing a good 40-50 runs short of par, skittling out 3 only to watch Morgan and Stokes snatch the game from them, Buttler on to blitz their small moment of hope, then the rain come down to screw them over again.
They must be massively frustrated...

Watching the Aussies get increasingly frustrated in the field as their bowling got spanked about and hearing the fans sing 'Are you England in disguise' brought a tear to this Englishman's eye. The ECB has to make each home Ashes series start at Edgbaston as the atmosphere was fantastic.

Always good to see the Aussies get knocked out, makes a change from it being us!

Steve Smith is a strange ol' captain, gets irate and petulant at everything. You'd think a captain would hold it together more.
