Congrats to England. This is a choke that would make South Africa proud. As brilliant as Pakistan have been today if England turned up they would have won as easily as India did.

I heard today that the ICC prepare the wickets and not the host nation, I know it's their tournament but surely that gives them the opportunity to manipulate a result as opposed to the hosting nation preparing the wicket?
No sour grapes because we were complete garbage today but wanted to throw it out there, especially with Bangladesh v India in the other semi.
Guaranteed full house for the final unlike today...

It was pathetic yesterday from England. A gutless performance and showed that we may not be able to take the pressure.

How come wade still playing for australia ? I think warner , renshaw , khawaja , smith and handscomb - these are australia's top 5 test batsmen.. Khawaja must play ahead of shaun marsh. Shaun marsh is only good in asian condition. He is not good enough in australian condition. Time and time again he has proved it.. Number 6 is a big worry for australia. Mitchell Marsh hasn't developed as expected , Moses henriques is such a poor player and I am not sure whether Stoinis is good enough to play at number 6 position.
Wade is playing because of his batting ability and the seeming lack of an alternative. I think Pete Nevill was unlucky. Better gloveman than Wade. Gritty batsman but doesnt have the class of Wade.
I hope with the change in chairman of selectors Usman is back in the mix properly as he is without doubt our best number 3. Marsh (actually both brothers) seem to have been a favourite of Rod Marsh (that sounds weird!).
The all rounder /number 6 spot is the big worry. Mitchell Marsh has been terrible and as you say there are question marks over Henriques and Stoinis. Hilton Cartwright played the final Australian test last season and that didnt work either. Not sure whats going to happen there.

Great bowling by England but my God that kit is awful. They look as if they should be serving my order at a fast food chain.

Absolutely tanked the South Africans. What a batting performance from Bairstow as well, superb player.

Lost it with Livingstone, totally underwhelming performance and I very much doubt we'll see him in an England shirt again.

Yeah he shat the bed on debut. Dropped catch, couldn't score, resorted to wild village cricket swings, and then the run out. Though there was some decent bowling from the Saffers and the rest of that batting line up were also culpable in the latter stages.

Chris Jordan also had a shocker earlier on.

Which run out are you referring to? ;)

Ballance back for the test matches which is a bit of a surprise given his weakness against the short pitched stuff. Probably only a stop gap for the summer as he will struggle in Australia in places like Perth.
England really need to find another top class top order batsmen. Hameed showed promise so maybe they need to stick with him. Not sure who else is about.

Feels like about 3 years since we've had some real cricket to follow. Should be a good toss to win so nice start for Root as captain. Just please don't 3 or 4 down by lunch time. This SA bowling attack is probably the best around at the moment so wouldn't surprise me if we don't get off to the best of starts.
