I'm aware of that. I still don't think it's a good reason to sell.
To me (as with Van Der Vaart) it seems more like an excuse to sell rather than necessitating a sale.
I don't like the idea of our club letting go of players they'd otherwise keep at the drop of a hat, just because the player is unsettled in the short term.
Appears to me that few who have replied have even opened the link, let alone read the article.
Tragic story which really has fuck all to do with first team appearances, and all to do with a medical condition that is ignored and excused by the size of a players contract and earnings by football clubs in general.
He won't be the first and is possibly is the third to go out of Tottenham with similar issues, though i don't blame the Club, football in general should and needs to do more in addressing player issues.
