Not saying you're wrong, but I thought he was on the left of a 433?

No, Villareal play 4-4-2 with Nilmar and Rossi upfront and Valero and Cani/Cazorla behind. For a few matches he played 4-3-3 with Marco Ruben also upfront, but he usually has played as their striker alongside Rossi.

Give thrm 50m and sign both!!!

From Nov. 2010:

Nilmar - The Brazilian striker has scored nine goals so far this season and is in incredible shape. His amazing speed, great vision and excellent technique make him very hard to mark and an extremely important figure for Villarreal. Nilmar is also a great tactical player, with excellent positional sense, and that is very important for the 4-4-2 / 4-2-2-2 formation. Nilmar , who has past experience playing as a winger, uses it for Villarreal when he drops deep to make space for the attacking midfielders, moving laterally to support and change the axis of the team, and linking the play of the entire side.

Giuseppe Rossi - The Italian-American wizard has scored eight goals so far this season, and his partnership with Nilmar is absolutely terrifying. Blessed with great technique, space and especially intelligence, Rossi is fast developing into one of the most dangerous forwards on the planet. His clever passing game and incredible movement across the pitch make him an ideal partner for Nilmar . The two have complementary movement much assisted by the intelligent playing style of Rossi. He is only 23 years old, and he keeps improving from week to week. He is a world-class star in the making.

Joey Barton. If Levy didn't want Bellamy i'm 100% sure there is no way he would even entertain Barton.

Off the back of last season I would take Barton as well, was really impressed...think he got 5 goals and 9 assists, but his overall performances were of a very high standard.

Villarreal would not want to sell Nilmar, but they would be more willing to let him go than they would Rossi imo.

Nilmar is a real livewire - unbelievable dribbling for a striker, and super quick with good movement. He probably needs to work on his finishing, and does not have the strength of a Premiership 6 footer, but he'd still give defenders nightmares.

Would be over the moon with this, but can't see it happening.
