I personally think that the b&y for about Adebayor and Rossi as it started a long time ago when they were our main targets according to itk and Arry. The thing is he probably hasnt confirmd this becuase if we sign anyone related to those colours we will all adore him.
Hope im wrong though and b&y are some marquee signings.

this has officialy gone to far, fair play for finding this, how on earth you did or even thought to look at family crests I'll never know, but using the colours of a family crest as a cyrptic, we've lost it, its all just bonkers!!

I am a Real Madrid fan also and never heard the nickname of White Storm. The only thing related to Madrid is a book written by Phil Bails about Real Madrid's history called White Storm, but it isnt Madrid nickname.

I think we have established Blue and Yellow isn't just one player. Therefore maybe Modders will be more than happy with the whole Blue and Yellow package.

I know that. Just that if Diarra is Blue then Yellow is going to have be someone mind boggling.

POTL did make such a fuss about Blue and Yellow, and yes he did say Modric would be happy when B&Y came to fruition.

Diarra is quality and would be a great signing however I dont think he's what POTL was refering too, hes hyped it up so much it just has to me a real big deal.

Agree with this. Thats why I'm not convinced that Diarra is Blue. It has to be someone bigger, although of course it may not come to fruition.

I wouldn't be shocked if this was the case but only time will tell or if we completley cock up and dont sign anyone then maybe he will have to spill.

Thing is in one of POTLs updates he said Modric would be "more than happy" with Blue and Yellow. No offence to Diarra, decent player and all that, but would he fit into that category?

This is what I expected unfortunately, I like Diarra but surely it would be a permanent and was hoping that POTLs ITK today was striker related and a bit more exciting.

TBH I did, but I do love Steve's updates as he provides so much more and has an uncanny habit of picking out the very best comments!!

But yeah I was pleased to see some ITK posted for a change and thoroughly enjoyed the lengthy read about Llorente over in the twitter thread, very believable IMO.

Even though we're ok in the DM department with Sandro and Palacios (at the moment), i think some people are under-estimating just how big a signing Diarra would be. He's playing at one of the biggest clubs in the world and he's a big favourite amongst the RM fans. Because it's been deemed as a foregone conclusion for the last few days that he will sign, it may have lost its awesomeness somewhere along the line, whereas if we had announced this signing out of the blue, we'd all be 'wahoooo' and 'blimey' and maybe even a Mo Sizlak style 'waaaaaa'.

So, to sum up, Diarra could well be one of the 'persuade Modric to stay' signings. Or he may not be. But he could be.

Maybe a swap-loan??? Then we keep Modric after the loan and they keep Torres and we are both happy getting what we need for the new season!!! And Levy wouldnt be lying either as we will not sell him. And when we get CL next year, everybody is happy. Thats why Mata, because he could fill Modders shoes!

Could well be striker related. Mentioned this a few pages back but in one of POTLs updates he mentions Blue and Yellow and an "=9" which I took to mean forward/strikers.

I very much doubt B & Y is anything to do with Diarra personally. Think it's always been about strikers and exciting names.

I would welcome the signing of Diarra but I don't think B & Y is referring to him

Also I notice all Falcao talk has gone very quiet recently, even to Chelsea. Is he just staying at Porto? He could be part of blue and yellow but obv not the loan
