I can see what Gards is getting at. Berahino is 18m plus, the other two are in the 10m bracket.
It does however contradict (somewhat) JJ's comment that we could get both N'Jie and Berahino.

Maxime Gonalons. Guessed he could be the 3rd CM Trix mentioned because he wasn't even on the bench for Lyon yesterday, but found out he was actually suspended

Ah ok. He'd be my choice of the names we've been linked with.

Somehow, contrary to ITK's, I don't think SB will happen, DL has never and will never go above what he thinks the player is worth. Hope I'm wrong.

The 3 linked, this will say a lot about changes at spurs as SB is and always has been our number 1 target! Miss out on him then it's down to money again! My personal opinion is 18m signs SB! #thfc #coys #timetostepuplevy
How has he been our #1 target? We were linked with like 15 other LWF's before him.

I am not asking a real question, thank you for the info Gards and Raggy.

Yeah - Martial and Ings were presumably higher up the list at the start of the summer, as we moved for them first? Berahino only came into the picture after he sacked his agent.

No it doesn't NJie will be used more for pace and width. SB is obviously more of a central attacking threat. One purchase does not relate to the othet

Or potentially SB would have been but we wouldnt deal with his agent who has since been replaced. Based on previous ITK

Income £35m
Expenditure £20m
Net £15m

We've also had £2m in sell-ons from Falque and Luongo

Soldado c.£12m, Lennon c.£6m

All-in-all, that's about £35m to play with

Berahino £18m, Nigel £10m, leaving £7m towards the Bender fund

Interesting. Thanks. What about Adebayor? Not confident he'll be gone?

I presume in view of JJ's (we'll all be happy) remark that this third player will cost quite a bit more than £7m. If that's the case then I suspect we'll see one or more outgoings. I wonder who? Maybe this year we'll even make money on transfers at the close of the window...

This is an excellent point. Still think Martial would have been quite the signing. I think SB will do a job for us though.

That's my point. Gards is implying that it's one choice between three. I don't think that's the case.
