He does lack finesse, but then he makes up for that with sheer power and aggression on goal. He'll score a wonder goal every 10 games for us and some decent ones in between, but no doubt there'll be games where he goes missing a bit. For circa £15-20m that would be ok, but for £30m you want a player that is on fire every time he puts on his boots.

Yeh but then that 10% consists largely of footballers who leave school at an early age to pursue their footballing career no doubt.

I agree they leave school early but it's common in Europe for kids to learn a second language at 5, they then learn a third later on.....I can speak about three words of Spanish,and two of them are "beer please"

this is some exciting times to be a spurs fan. never imagined we would do deals so early..securing both vert and sigurd..now ade and lloris? in HR reign, never ever i would dream that spurs would make signings like lloris. cant wait for all the transfers to be done(hopefully 3 - 4 more including ade and lloris) and get the season started. i have a good feeling abt this dynasty we are creating.
