It's your life Brian - This bit could just be refering to Ryan Sessegnon and his birthday so that he can sign a contract.

Romeo & Juliet are together on that - Romeo and Juliet(t) are both in the phonetic alphabet. Which also includes Lima. So Lucas Lima of Santos and Brazil.

The phonetic alphabet also includes Bravo and Oscar, but Oscars wages would be an issue, and we don't need a keeper.

It also has X-ray - but that will be Sonny and his poorly arm.

Why couldn't The Goat just say 'The Eagle has Landed"?

I don't understand why there is a need for a cryptic relating to a player leaving o_O

"we better not mention it, or they will know they should buy our player" :cautious:

To be fair, a lot of similar comments were popping up when we were linked linked with Zaha last season. None of us really understood the move and I think we were all surprised with how he kicked on. In hindsight, he would have been a great signing. The club obviously saw something there. Maybe they see something similar in Redmond

Redmond has come on heaps and bound this season. Moves intelligently all over the last third and has been getting into better positions before shooting, where he earlier had a tendency to go for hopeful shots from distance. Pacey, two good feet and somewhat tricky. Also pretty decent at counter attacks.

Would not slit my wrists if he replaced Sissoko and Nkoudou. On the other hand, he'd probably not be cheap...

Ummmm....Why has the Eric Dier player thread been locked in Spurs Chat?

I'd rather the cryptic is Redmond in than Dier out, thats for sure!

Why's everyone talking about Nathan Redmond?

The poster who came up with that answer got there by using 'on that' as an anagram for Nathan. Which doesn't work. They even said that a few posts later.

This

It's difficult to upgrade the starting 11 when everyone's fit (without breaking the salary structure and smashing transfer fee records), but we can certainly improve the bench and this guy would be an improvement on what we had available in some matches last season (FA cup semi springs to mind).

I always thought he looked dangerous, but I can't say I've watched him that much to be able to say more than that.

For me we have to be looking at players that can enhance 1st xi and not just back up .The only 2 obvious positions are dier in a 3 and the pacey winger alternative to eriksen .Could you ever really start Redmond over eriksen as a choice ? Clearly not .

Why would Dier leave when he was only on official site other day saying how much he wanted to get a result against Newcastle to avenge their embarrassing thrashing of us end of season before last?

Not really what someone who wants out would be saying...
