Come on. We are not even close to violating the FFP rules (which are a joke, by the way). We made a 33 million profit last fiscal year after tax. The money is there. Players and, more importantly, their agents can read financial statements.

'Arry begs to differ....

Bizarre that anyone thinks we'll weaken the squad tbh

Would assume that Walker is seen as expendable, given we have Trippier, plus Walker-Peters in the background, and potentially a big pot of cash to buy a new RB like Pereira. Whilst he may not be PL proven like Walker, he does have similar athleticism to meet the demands of Poch's system, and also no shortage of skill on the ball.
Dier on the other hand, given the flexibility he brings to our system, would be harder to replace in my opinion. As someone stated yesterday, the move towards the end of the season to play him centrally and being given license to step forward, (which in reality was a slight reversal from when we started going three at the back last year with Dier dropping from DM inbetween the CB's), does that tie in with the ITK about him telling Poch he wanted to play in DM rather at RCB? Harder to replace him in my opinion.

Gives me a feeling we won't sell Dier. Sends a terrible message that we aren't interested in kicking on. Selling to rivals, who are currently behind us, it's a huge step backwards.

So we're looking at £100m for dier and walker? We'd have to be mad to turn that down. They could be replaced by veltman and pereira for a third of that whilst probably improving our team and leaving money for lemar/barkley etc

Except both of those players may or may not adapt to the PL.

Edmonton on COYS in regards to the Telegraph article (50 M) on Dier:

Absolutely, no way does Daniel ever reveal his price in an opening exchange. My understanding is he is staying anyway.

When CCV becomes a regular his chant should obviously be sung to the melody of TNT by AC/DC
Im pretty on it, though only a pup at 34, and i dont know it in afraid. Hard pressed to get 60000 to do it. More famous/stupid pop songs work better in a crowd, as i found to my cost when i heard about the will giggs on fire chant, without hearing the chant and assumed it was to kings of leon. Boy did i look a charie!

You need to delete that mate. No pics or videos in here or your anus will resemble a hippos yawn.

Then why don't City and United buy Pereira and Veltman?

Brexit. Young, strong, English national players will last a life time. EU immigrants, tossed out by end of 2019. Don't kill the messenger. You guys voted for it.
They're not gonna just deport everyone from Europe, but that's politics and not for this thread. The reason City and Utd don't go for our targets is because they have infinite money and can buy players that are already proven in this league and should be guaranteed successes.
