Personally I think his most complete performance was LB V Villa. I think on the ball he was devastiang at LM in amnay games and is and will contiune to be a top class LM but his very very best form in his carrer will be at LB

I didn't see that game vs Villa. But i remember games against Arsenal, Chelsea, Blackburn and Bolton where he was awesome at LM. I just feel he could be restricted at LB, IMO he's probably the best left midfielder in the premiership.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. I don't think it matters where Bale plays...he's been equally as impressive at both left back and left mid. I also think he has the technique to play as a central midfielder although that may come later in his career.

If we use him properly he can be one of the players of the season.

No, and i would advise anyone to push any of the ITK's for info.

As much as we would love to know what is happening all the time its not fair on them if they keep getting harassed for information.

(Not a go at you Schitzophonic, a few people have done the same this window)

I really want to believe that the 3 players are really top bracket players, but I can't help but think his idea of top players are Richards, Parker and Bellamy or something.

No mate you are just a realist. A top player we could have realistically signed this summer was Joe Cole but we couldn't match the wages Liverpool forked out.

If Harry can't even get Cole to join, I think we can stop dreaming of others top, top names like Suarez, Ozil, joining us until we regularly participate in the champions league and willing to fork out top dollar on wages.

I think the point this window was to be a lot more relaxed (at least that's what the brief was meant to be) and let this thread flow more.

If Harry's talking about our transfers it either helps to corroborate or dismiss ITK. I'd (personally) say that falls under ITK discussion.

In previous years these threads killed the server hence the need for modding, now the server can easily handle them so we're not restricted and instead it should just be whatever people thinks works best (and the consensus seemed to be from the last window that people enjoyed a big discussion thread).

Not beyond the reals of possibility as that seems to be what happened with him in both Aug 09 (he got injured the day before he was due to fly over to sign) and Jan 10 (when he still hadn't recovered from that injury).

His signing has appeared a forgone conclusion for a long time, it's his fitness that is the issue.
