We're hoping for player X and a supposed bid has been made. Fans on SC assume that Levy tried to change the deal to get the price down when player signs for another club.......the fans of SC "Levy is a dick that's preventing the club from progressing"

Then we have a bid for £££ for X player, Levy moves the goal post, asking for more money......the fans of SC "all hail Levy!!"

You really couldn't pay enough for such comedy!!

Great way to start our window, selling one part of the best defence in the league to a direct rival. Really thought Walker would last the distance with us. I do wonder what happened between him and Poch that made him staying here that untenable.

If that's true at then they'd get 10% no matter what so Levy has squeezed a few more pennies out for the mighty spurs too. To be honest I'm not bothered as long as it's used to invest back into squad

Dont think its extorinate at all in today climate, tbh think we miss out on an extra 5M, selling to rival plus we should held out for 60M, mianly becuase its a direct rival

Stinks to lose Walker who is underappreciated IMO by many fans but for a world record fee for a defender? Can't complain too much.

My only worry is that there has not been any real ITK that I can remember about a replacement being ready to go. I hope behind the scenes they have something done and agreed to so the screws aren't turned on them like Levy did to Man City?

Shame to see Walker go, but confident we have players already in our squad like KWP and Tripps that can be very useful. Add Perreira and use the extra cash else where and I think we will be a better squad for it.

We've always sold to buy I just think the issue now is we have a fantastic squad of players who (sissoko aside) nobody really wants anyone to go. A few years ago we were thinning out players like Kaboul, Capoue and chiriches. Now anyone that goes will be missed or bemoaned.

I think a lot of Spurs fans would be much cooler about this if we'd announced a top signing, whether in Walker's position or anywhere else, before he's let go.

Let's hope there's something good in the pipelines.

As for Walker, I still see him as the only member of our preferred XI who could leave without damaging the first XI too much, thanks to Trippier. But it is gutting to sell him to a rival.

Sell on clauses don't usually last forever. I suppose it might do in this case but they normally have an expiry date.

You realize that there are two opposing factions with strong opinions and then a majority in the middle ground?

A personally don't have an issue with Levy dicking around transfers, buying or selling. Maybe that makes me BSoDL. But I would, and do, do the same thing.
