Down 18%.Don't know about world wide, but I am pretty sure viewership was down in the US this season. But worldwide the figures soar. The Far East and elsewhere show the EPL is a winner.

ali z on replacements:
As i said weds club feel they have got Perrira
with Walker GONE id really hope the club has more than a 'feel' they'd get him
Virtually all of our league rivals have wingers who play primarily off the left who I would not trust Trippier to be able to contain. Hazard, Alexis, Sane, and Martial would all be very difficult for him to cope with. Mane can also play off the left and I would be surprised if Klopp didn't try to target Trippier. Not to mention the top clubs we could come up against in the CL.
In Irish sports shops there are usually just four EPL team shirts available.
United. 'Liverpool. Chelski. Arse. (But mostly Utd and LIv)
Definitely agree. Esp at the quoted price, which is really low in today's market, you'd think (hope) that DL would just pay the 22M and finish it off instead of haggling down to save a couple mil.Not doubting or bashing the board/levy etc but we've all seen this movie before. Identify target > piss about getting it done > "feel" like we have them > miss out and end up with a stopgap.
Could even tag on "lessons have been learnt" on that...
Let's hope the ITK is right and we manage to get this over the line, and relatively quickly now the sale is confirmed.
Also doesn't pereira have a release clause?
I believe some early ITK on him said as much. Also doesn't pereira have a release clause?
I thought he had a release clause....but i also thought he had the typical (for the Portugese league) cloud of who actually is in control of the sales...is it the Team, the agent, some random bloke at the pub?....no one knows for sure.
We only sold him today. Give it a week before you start crying. It's a bit disheartening, to be honest. At least when we sold Bale (not saying Walker is as big a loss), Levy softened the blow by signing a load of players.
Now, nothing feels close at all. Wouldn't be surprised if we didn't bring anybody in in time for them to get any sort of pre season.
I'm joining @Archibald&Crooks' anti-Levy army now, until we sign somebody.
Personally both Barkley and Pereira would really excite me.Pretty sure we'll sign more than that. But Barkley, King, Pereira, no-one that really sets my pulse racing.
This is annoyingly funny.Especially when our feel is not usually very accurate
I think the fact that this group still has not won anything means that the formidable carrot alone dangling daintly overhead will keep us focused. Perhaps a successful season for Fergie constituted winning something. Sure second is massively successful for Spurs of the modern era... But we can be more successfulIt's like Fergie always said, the time to strengthen and freshen things up is after a successful season, to stop complacency setting in. If we want to keep performance levels high bring in players who threaten our current XI's places.
