How about we actually sign some of them first?

Nah, I prefer the conjecture.

Reality is so droll right now. 'M' this and 'rat face' that. I mean, we all love our club, but this saga is more tiresome than I think any of us care for, right? Perhaps we should take it as a compliment that the media are so obsessed with us?

I was trying to give a necessary diversion, because I'm sick and tired of all this bollocks regarding one player.

I'd rather discuss the potential good news, rather than this spoon fed powder shit.

Btw, San Miguel is best served frozen

To be honest I can see Vucinic and Diarra being our two big incomings over the coming weeks.

I expect we might have a go for Adebayor late on in the window.....but I would be delighted with Vucinic and Diarra.

Add a couple of talented younsters for the future and thats a window I'm happy with.

If that's the only top signings we make..........it won't be enough to keep us in the hunt next season.

If Modric was refusing so what? still doesn't change anything, he said himself (if quotes are to believed) that levy said he can watch from the stands (or similar) the only way out of this is to show him we mean buisness in the transfer market, then maybe offer him a pay rise! If Chelsea don't hit the ground running they are in serious shit, a squad thats ageing, had a big blip last year and a new manager that hasn't experianced a losing streak, and has'nt had the press on his back! their trying to buy their way out of it by unsettleing their rivals! absent's makes the heart grow fonder, sit it out Luka, i'm betting a good start to the season and a end of the transfer window changes your mind!

an ageing squad, plus an owner who is willing to probably go past the £100m mark to re invest. With regards to Villas Boas, he is just doing the same as Mourinho did, in so much as Mourinho came to England with all these doubters, ok he won CL, but Villas Boas has not had a chance to try and win it yet, but he does now.

If Harry is serious about Rossi and Vucinic then it only means one thing.............he is trying to recreate the old Keane and Berbatov partnership.

If I was a scout and the manager asked me to buy similar players to those guys..........Rossi and Vucinic are the 2 I would pick.
For me Rossi is a better version of Keane and Vucinic is not far off being as good as Berbatov.

However is stills leaves us playing 4-4-2 and that means we will still be pretty open and predictable.

I do worry about VDV if we adopt a 4-4-2 next year. I just can't really see him fitting in, in that formation

I dont think thats the idea, you mean putting VDV on the right then I take it.

We need a forward to play ahead of VDV where he is best - and that is most definitely in behind a forward.

I sincerely hope we are moving towards 4-2-3-1.

Lol, Im just being honest, Mata rossi, vucinic, diarra, llorente etc all pipe dreams for us fans. You might see Keane leaving with adebayor coming in, but that's the height of it.

Palacios shouldn't be sold now at all (and he shouldn't anyway) if Sandro's out for 3 months. Why bring in a newbie when we have someone ready to play who's excellent?

I'd still take Diarra/Vidal just sell Tom/Jenas...

Mourinho did with a squad coming in to their prime, and the chairman can throw what money he likes at it, it does'nt mean it's going to work. we can wait and see, Chelsea like us or anyone else, can be a different proposition after winning or losing their first 2 or 3

Even though Adebayor's wages are about the same as Mata, Rossi, Vucinic, Diarra and Llorente's combined?

The height of it! I would be over the frigging moon.

Vucinic is realistic so is Diarra.

Rossi and Llorente could be out of our reach.

I wonder if Levy can push the M-scenario to the point where Abramovich gets so pissed off that he thinks 'fuck it! £100mil. Final offer'.

Think about it. How often has anyone said no to Abramovich, and meant it!

What Abramovich wants, Abramovich gets (9 times out of 10)

Levy deals at £100 mil, saves his face, and puts the cash towards solving our new stadium problem. Simple as.

Ok, never going to happen, but it's late and the beer's are kicking in. Whoop whoop!!!

That isn't going to happen though is it? Hudd wont be sold. Maybe Jenas if we can get a buyer (yes please)...think Wilson wants to go though, as he would lose his place in all likelihood when Sandro returns - and thats even assuming Harry would start him now with Sandro out (well he probably would for some away games)

I just think Palacios feels that Harry has lost confidence in him, perhaps he wants a fresh challenge.

Damn ye Blue & Yella. Damn ye blue & yella fellas to hell.
