When you need 5-6 out and 3-4 in there is far more going on behind the scenes to possibly pass on. We only want one in and 2 out in this window(not including youth players). There is very little ITK because there is far less that needs to happen(this is a very good thing imo).

It's for that reason why it might be worth having a separate, additional thread for transfer rumours. With there being so many rule breakers it suggests there's a market for people who are looking for place to discuss transfer stories. It's just a suggestion. Appreciate it has been tried in the past but ITK is so thin on the ground and I can't see it improving with this regime. The club is no longer in a mess and in a way, it kind of diminishes this thread.

Makes perfect sense. Also the stadium is more or less sorted out so less to share of sensitive info there. Sale of the club has gone quiet, so not much to talk about. Over the last few years, several people who earlier years would leak things have left, and Pochettino's people seem to be uninterested in leaking stuff. To give a specific example, Italian journalists know nothing now (in contrast to the latest three summer windows), which I can only assume have something to do with the latest Italian to leave the club.

Qualify for CL, and the summer may look different.

I'm really rather enjoying the fact that there's so little going on in this part of the site...

Too many transfer windows over the last few years where the site has suffered from fair weather posters, barging in with their flustered floppy cocks swinging, moaning about the implications of clear and utter bollocks.

With there being so many rule breakers it suggests there's a market for people who are looking for place to discuss transfer stories. I am not suggesting getting rid of the itk page but perhaps introducing a "gossip page" in addition to this. Satisfying both needs. I appreciate you have tried it in the past but the need appears a bit greater with the ITK on such short supply. I can't see a return to the Harry days either. Longer this regime sticks around, I suspect it will be much the same. I am only suggesting it as a fan of the site and those who visit it.

Mate, what's wrong with the actual Transfer Rumours section? There's countless threads on there about countless players. People put tweets & press speculation in there all the time. The only time a tweet isn't allowed (I think?) Is when it's to actually start up a topic, as it must be an actual 'link' , to start up a thread. However, if there is a tweet from a (reputable) reporter, I'm sure that'd be within the site guidelines, when it comes to starting a new topic.

Mate, what's wrong with the actual Transfer Rumours section? There's countless threads on there about countless players. People put tweets & press speculation in there all the time. The only time a tweet isn't allowed (I think?) Is when it's to actually start up a topic, as it must be an actual 'link' , to start up a thread. However, if there is a tweet from a (reputable) reporter, I'm sure that'd be within the site guidelines, when it comes to starting a new topic.

I don't know this site very well so forgive me if it already exists. What I am suggesting is a thread (rather than a section) which is like this ITK one but allows rumours. Something that is refreshed daily/weekly whatever. So rather than creating a new thread to discuss one rumour, there's one place to discuss them all. It was just a just a suggestion. Perhaps the wrong place to discuss it.

If you look at the top right of your screen, you'll see there's a search icon. So, if you see some info about a player elsewhere (not on this site) and if you're on the Transfer Rumours section, simply type the name of the player into the search facility. If he's been spoken about, it will show up in the search results. If he hasn't been spoken about, and the source is credible, create a new topic & Bobs your uncle

If you're looking elsewhere for info, be sure to pop any ITK musings (from credible sources) in here. Apparently @Archibald&Crooks is very generous when it comes to showing gratitude, but you need to enjoy walking sideways as a result
