Well if we're paying £4,420,000 of his wages (cryptic formation clue?) and City are paying £4,680,000 of his wages then they'd be getting a net £7,320,000 if we buy him at the end of it for that price. :shrug:

Why is it that we have a nice organised site, seperate RO ITK, each player has a thread, its all so neat and accessable but other teams have dog shite forums which are impossible to use. I've been trying to snoop around seeing if there was ITK on other teams that may link to us selling a couple of players but its like shifting throw a land fill site looking for an earring! Stokes transfer thread is 2003 pages long (would love to see Styeve do an update on that one!)

Can't help but laugh that City underestimate us so much that not only are they willing to do business with us, and for the type of forward we've been desparate for, but they are also looking like paying a large chunk of Adebayors salery.

Well I posted something along those lines about City just stringing us along for their own amusement (albeit without the 'FACT' in shouty capitals). It won't be the first or last time i'll speculate incorrectly but then again it won't be the first time someone has gloated prematurely on this thread based on ITK 'information' . I'll wait for the official announcement before deciding whether humble pie tastes better with custard or gravy.

In simple terms even paying half of Ade's wage bill will be great for our FFP forecast.

His wage's do not count against us because his deal was in 2010, but the loan fee and the % of salary they pay will all be classed as income. So £5m wage saving + the £2m fee, £7m towards FFP compliance.... It really is that simple, and what the entire deal is about.

Forget helping Tottenham, if they are still our rival then we are in trouble.

Lol at that post from twitter dissapearing as fast as it arrived... I think we should all get very excited if we see Crouch/Defoe/Pav out ITK (Not because I don't like them) because it will defo mean a signing is iminent...

Like wise other than Gio I think any outs will be followed closely by an in... Bentley will prob end up loaned if not permanently out ... same for Hutton...

they are no longer our rivals, in the same way that man united/chelsea aren't realistically our rivals either (chelsea less so than the manchester duo). We're up against scum and pool.

regarding itk - looks like Diarra and Ade. 2 players to seriously boost our team. I still think that we should get either a top draw centre back or a creative intelligent winger.

If we sign Diarra and Adebayor and if Ledley can play against Liverpool, Man utd, Man city, chelsea and Arsenal home and away, then we are probably one striker away from having a squad that could challenge for the title IMO....
