Most of the media links we get on here are from terrible sources like Here is the City - so unless I see something from at least a semi credible newspaper then I instantly dismiss it.

Thought they were going to clamp down on it. Tbh I hardly look at the front page anymore. It's easier to go on newsnow then you can see the sources first.

  1. Alright mate, although we'd all love it- can you put the Tevez to Spurs rumours to bed so we can move on? Would be amazing though

  2. The original JJetset ‏@jetsetyid 7m7 minutes ago have a think about his wages then you will have your answer

In regards to the Trippier deal, I have spoken to somebody who is close to Kyle Walkers family. Probably not too much of a big deal, but they blame Spurs for his long absence.
By all accounts our medical team kept pushing on treatment and rehab on one injury, refusing to delve any deeper. Consequently when that didnt work, they then discovered an injury which could have been repaired months previously.

I wonder how much of a strain that has put on him and us.

People can bitch about Dembele all they want but I still love the player. I know he's flawed but I also think he can do things that others can't in our team and brings a calmness to our midfield when he plays.

He's inconsistent and I wonder if that's more mental than anything. Either way I hope he stays put.

Was it a brain injury? Just joking. That's actually very interesting and would explain a lot.

You'd think with how valuable these players are they'd get a full medical check every month or so. MRI's the works.

This is spurs we're talking about.

You would have thought having a scouting network was pretty basic shit. You know, staff who's job is to actually scout players. But oh no, this is THFC

I'm sure the truth is somewhere in between what Walker's people are saying and what Spurs would say in response to it but either way it sounds like some errors in judgement have been made.

I personally still have faith in Walker to get his performances more consistent and bringing Trippier in should only really help that, as long as Kyle takes his lead from Danny Rose and steps up his game. If not then Trippier will take his spot and keep it for himself.

interesting on Walker. Tabloids were talking silly money for him at one stage. Given his poor form amidst the injuries I for two (Bus being no 1!) would spill no tears if he did leave, assuming we do the Tripper deal.

However, think Utd and Pool will probably want to buy before he's proved his return to fitness. City have two quality RBs already. So if there is a rift we have no obvious takers at the money Danny Boy would want?

Very disappointing, but not surprising. As I previously said, we can't make a profit out of him so we're not interested.

Better than anyone we have or have been linked to and available with lesser teams than us interested. Watch him tear it up for West Ham etc next season.

Still, I look forward to another underwhelming midfield signing to sit on the bench and keep Stambouli company.

They do have regular MRIs. But I guess if you're not looking for a specific problem you won't find any abnormalities.

Do we really need to be told we're not going to be signing Tevez? Surely everyone could have worked that out for themselves...

So what are they looking for then?
I'm not a Dr so couldn't tell you. But for example if a player has a problem with his hip you generally scan that area of the body. But it could be another part of the body that causing the hip to flare up.

Interesting to note that Trippier's arrival will join him in the list of 90% of Poch's signings which have been defensive.

(Alli being the exclusion)

I expect a CDM to be next and hopefully his plans help our defensive record!

They wanna sell, he wants to leave, affordable , it's just not a complicated enough deal for us
