jasper with a tiny bit on yedlin: Season loan no good. 3-4 months ok. Apparently we will take a very good look during pre-season before we decide. He will also be tried RM.
But we don't play with a right midfielder do we. RWF? That's hugely different skill set to a right back.

Really? Why expose them to unnecessary radiation? Or by regular do you just mean like twice or year and only of course it they have persistent injuries?

MRIs are harmless except in rare cases where people have metal in their bodies. They use magnetic fields and radio waves. There is no harmful ionising radiation.

He started off as a right winger and is in the process of being converted to a full back. Whether he can hack it as a RWF depends on how creative he is. Also by playing him there would mean Eriksen or Lamela and Chadli will miss out if we sign Martial.

I love Yedlin. I really do.

I think he will be a good player for us.

But at RB. He has not shown any exceptional technique, shooting, or passing to justify moving him up to attacking RM which is what we have in a 4-2-3-1. He shouldn't play RW in a 4-3-3 either.

Now, in a 4-4-2 or a 4-1-4-1 he could be very interesting a RM. But is Poch gonna play that when we possess the ball?

Either way, Yedlin is a nightmare for any team in the transitional phase and on the counter-attack. I think we will find him at minimum useful late in games, and if he develops under Poch, he could become a very good RB in this league and a serviceable wide player ala Danny Rose in that Burnley FA Cup (or League Cup?) game.

Yedlin is not an inverted RW. I think it is more likely that Yedlin can be an impact sub in the league this season, and get a game or two in Europa/cup.

watch how he is used for the US in the upcoming gold cup. that should give some indication on how Spurs might use him.

Thanks for the info. Sounds pretty promising, hopefully he gives a proper showing of himself.
