Can those discussing Levy, take it out this thread please. I just tried to catch up on todays news and had to read 3 pages of people crying about him or defending him.

Think it's quite likely Levy has been extra careful with funds over recent windows anticipating the implementation of FFP.

Let's hope he has and we've retained some clout for the forthcoming months.

We were active but my point was there was no net investment. Modric and VDV left and some would argue that the squad was made weaker.

The way I see it is , the squad is stronger, but the first 11 is definitely weaker than last year ... for AVB to get 72 points is fantastic given this and that Sandro/Kaboul have been out most of the season

So we've wrapped up the the general manager that has led Roma from constant Champions League to a 11th and 7th place finish. Kick ass! :p

Actually, I know very little about him. Hopefully he's a great addition

Edit: Didn't realize that he was Capello's #2 and that his efforts at Roma have been around restructuring the side.

I'm not even sure the squad is stronger tbh.

the thought of those two back in the team makes me a bit pleased.
