So basically Levy holding things up regarding one of Redknapps top transfer targets? nice one Daniel.

If Parker is one of our top targets I give up, There's a lot of bad blood between the 2 club's so I would imagine this will go to the wire if at all happen

Indeed it is a nice one. We have enough people on long contracts we can't git rid of. I would say its pretty smart not to allow a 30 year old a 4 year deal that we will be stuck with when Harry leaves next summer.

Perhaps Levy feels burned enough by Harry considering he doesn't play Palacios, Defoe, Kaboul, Keane and Niko very much after spending the clubs money to get them in. Harry seems to want to buy and evaluate rather than evaluate and buy. Maybe that's why he has the wheeler-dealer tag. Considering that our starting 11 includes 3 Harry players in Crouch, VDV and Gallas, Levy should be cautious.

that turd Comolli can take credit for five (BAE, Charlie, Bale, Modric, Gomes) and he left 3 years ago.

And Huddlestone, Lennon and Dawson, the same number that Harry can take credit for might have been bought by Pleat. Wait Huddlestone might have been that douche that took off to Chelsea.

And rather than saying triffic, at least Pleat has the brilliance to mispronounce every name in the book. He's comedy gold.

Happy for Levy to veto a £7m player in their 30s who has appauling positioning and doesn't have much to his game other than beating his chest in a way that makes tabloid writers wet. Keeping Palacios is a far better option for our 4th CM.

Re strikers - does someone want to email this to Redknapp: http://eurorivals.net/top-scorers.html. He's got to be able to find someone better than Defrouchenko out of that 150.

This is where we start the season with our current strikeforce, they each score 5 in the opening 6 games, all of which we win, and all will be rosy in the SC garden.

Ah here come the men in (lily)white coats.

My eight year old came up with a great line about something not living up to expectation

He said "Little League shits on my balls"

Now judge me as a bad parent if you must, as rather that scold him, I laughed hysterically and got him on the phone to tell the line to friends.

But my point is A) my son is funny as fuck

and

B) this summer is seriously shitting on all of our balls.

Has your son been listening to The Bugle? That definitely sounds like something off that.

But yes it is a bit of a ball shitter so far this transfer window. There is still more than enough time to bring it around but nothing seems particularly close at the moment either with players leaving or players coming in.

If it remains this way for the rest of the window there will be many a ball shat upon I'm sure.

well with harry said this afternoon about ambition and truly depressing itk from mystery imo i really am getting bit worried about what the hell is going on. we seem to be all over place. manager saying one thing, chairman another. no signings in sight and piss all money to talk about. no one seems to be leaving and certainly in no rush either.

getting deeply concerned about harry and what he has to say. its like he is sending out message all summer to levy.I dont think now that things are going to well and i see he is now saying 'if modric leaves' in sentences. not liking that at all. I know harry is a realist but not confident talk anway.

I should send that story in and ask John Oliver to say it. Then I can make it into a ring tone. I'm on it.

i disagree.

Harry brought most of those players when we was bottom of the league. those players saved us from going down, then got us to 4th place.

we now move onto the next set of players to push us on further. obviously Harry doesn't think those players will take us to that next level.

Surely its Daniel's job to move these players on quickly to aid us in getting the next set of players in to push us forward....not wait til last minute of the transfer window to scatter gun for anyone.

if thats the case he needs to replace him with someone who he thinks will. Not keep dithering and tying Redknapps hands, all the while making us LOSE key players because we are not in the promise land of 4th.

put up or shut up comes to mind.
