Parker wouldn't be a Modric replacement if he came.

Modric and Parker are two completly different types of players.

If we will replace Modric it will be in the mould of Erikssen type player.

looks like the club knew the moment he signed that big contract so we should have already knocked on the door the moment modric signed his extention

I wouldn't have voted that way. Modric is unique in that he is the all-round cm, possession, positioning, creativity and workrate. Vdv is creative but greedy and irresponsible inthe decisions he makes on the ball. He chases peole but has no real idea how to do it properly and fairly soon within a game he runs out of energy and will to keep it up.

I can't think of a suitable player to replace modric like for like so we have to tweak formation and look to other strengths. Pair Sandro and HUD and give Sandro the ball more to burst from cm. Give vdv less defensive responsibility and get him central behind a striker and with 2 wingers to set free. A 4231.

Now it's time for Levy to finally come out and spill the beans. His recent silence on the matter really hasnt helped and has annoyed me. All he has to do is get his arse on Sky and be clear to everyone and say right Modric may want to go but we are not selling for any money or we will accept but only for a massive fee. This can't drag on and ruin our summer, this should be a massive summer for us and this is damaging it badly!

Maybe Levy has been aware of Modric's desire to go all along this summer hence the continued interest in Adam.
