I have confidence now that we will all be happy by the end of the window. Well... Most of us.

Spurs fans - happy!! You know that never happens. Even if we won the league there would still be people moaning.

All looking positive and ITKs have always said to be patient + that most would be satisfied with outcome.

Be well happy if we have the parade of new players on Sunday

Another liked tweet from JJ

"So Spurs sell Walker and Wimmer for £65m buy Sanchez for £35m & 'are close' to Aurier deal with £10m to spare.. #LevyTime #COYS https://t.co/gI3kbgCfdB"

Aurier must be more than paper talk. Not a great person, but on the pitch he's mustard. Get an attacking player in too and the title shouldn't just be a dream anymore, trophies should come
Don't think that gifs far from wrong. Read an article other day by an agent who says Levy loves final day negotiations and is on the phone at 6am buzzing with it all

I won't be leaping for joy if Aurier signs
Still don't get this one as his appeal hasn't happened yet so the club must know something we don't. On his day one of top Rb's in the world. Pace, power and younger than walker. Thanks Hercules for the positive post, what a rollercoaster of emotions this TW is so far. More ups and downs to come I bet but hopefully more ups than downs. COYS. Levy has been doing extensive amounts of foreplay and we may be about to explode over his bald little head by the end of the TW.

It's decent that we're in for someone like Aurier (player wise, nor person wise!) but it makes me wonder if Trippier's injury is worse than first thought, bearing in mind KWP's development. After KWP's performances at the World Cup and Newcastle, he looks a very capable squad player at least. There's probably not too much difference in the gap between Walker and Trippier than there is between Trippier and KWP. Obviously Trippier has experience and is more reliable etc but I really like what I see from KWP.

Maybe if KWP plays against Chelsea and gets ruined, I'll calm down a bit and realise he's just a kid but so were half our players in the last couple of years. Either way, it'll be sad to see him go out on loan after a start like this but on the flip side it'll probably do him good in the long run - but he just seems ready to be in the squad. Maybe he'll stay and be cover for LB too while Rose is out.

Saying all that, Aurier is class (on the pitch, albeit a bit of a twat off it) so if that does come to fruition I won't be displeased at all.

If we're in for him I don't think Trippiers injury is reason, we've been linked with a few RB's all summer, Perreeia, canello etc and the reason is that as well as KWP did on his debut away at Newcastle, to have to rely on him week after week against the top top sides in the prem and champions league is too much for him at this stage in his development, FB's are so key to our play so we always need 2 top quality ones ready to go. KWP is certainly promising but he may well go on loan or keep with the first team and continue to learn from trippier and hopefully a new RB

Think there could be weight in this, we could've downplayed the seriousness as other clubs would know we're desperate as fuck if we'd announced he is out for a long time.

Or, alternatively we want to compete with depth and strength in numerous competitions?

I'd have thought Dier and potentially Sanchez would offer decent enough cover at RB for now.

Maybe but 3 rbs? How many games will KWP realistically play as 3rd choice?
Not the thread for it, happy to discuss this elsewhere mate.
