Loaning Fazio seriously makes no sense, especially with Jan's injury. A permanent deal I could understand as we may have been able to use the funds to get a backup but I simply do not see how a loan is good for us.

It's good to see that things aren't quite as bi-polar in here as usual. I think it's fair to say that most people would like to see us bring in a striker which isn't an unreasonable desire to have. Let's hope that there are still some irons in the fire because it would be a shame not to capitalise on our strengths this season.

Pretty sure there'll be a permanent option. Seville are just a bit short of cash at the moment

Wages + loan fee could add up to a good wedge.

Also breeds good will with players seeing a fellow pro treated with respect.

I don't think there are many people at all who wouldn't want us to bring in another striker, but only provided that someone of the right quality/mentality is available.

I think Dembele fits that bill perfectly as he's got talent now, but wouldn't expect to be immediately in the first team. I suspect finding many other similar players is quite tricky.

With Fazio now gone (and to a lesser degree Veljkovic) I also think we look light in defence/defensive midfield, but we should only bring in players if they are genuinely going to improve us and fit in with the squad.

You don't know how to tease. To really wind people up you should have just made the 20 mins reference and people would have been going crazy.

Or give the info to @Archibald&Crooks and let him "auction" it for 10 mins to raise funds, maybe only revealing the info once they get £100 in.

Legit though you are a site legend now just remember with great power comes great responsibility.

Because obviously he's not going to play so get his wages off the books

Edit: Don't know why you're WTF'ing me for @rocklink its been very clearly stated that he'll not play for us again
