Okay so now I'm picturing you as Freddie Mercury in the video for "I want to break free".

Don't you have your dwarfs to do your chores?

You've got it wrong, he likes to do chores for the dwarves.. with a little wee stiletto heel pressing on his back..

No matter that the ALB (Anti-Levy Brigade) and BSODL are already out in force, dissecting every snippet like Gil Grissom on LSD, this has been a wonderful window... from an SC POV. Massive shout out to Rob, A&C, Stoof et al for making this special place the only reason I have a web browser on my phone.

My advice... Listen to the ITK and think about what they actually intend to say. If some idiot puts a ridiculous spin on it then relax, take a breath and don't do yourself a mischief trying to feverishly respond. Remember, football may mean a great deal, for some more important than life and death, but at the end of the day, this is a social discussion forum, about rumours about a pretty great club, which plays a game where very talented people kick a ball around. Let the rage go... Relax. Enjoy the ride.
...you sensible speaking bar steward you...

Agree with the Lennon comments really.

In today's market he's worth a lot more than 4.5m. However he's likely on 50k plus a week, and has 'done the right thing' by not being a mouthy gobshite all window (like all the players we've sold to be fair). It seems to be a new iron ruling that if you speak up and make trouble publically you won't get what you want. You'd assume Everton is what he wants regardless of whether Hammers etc come in with a few quid more.

I like the win win in this situation, despite a lowish fee.

Still think we will end up paying up ade just to get rid of him only a year left and seemingly only West Ham any serious interest now if berba going villa, would probably be for the best I know is a hit for us but nobody gonna take him otherwise and we clearly ain't gonna play him
Last I heard Levy was adamant he would not pay him up. He wanted the full amount of his contract, and wasn't willing to take a part pay off to leave.

The greed is outrageous. The "equitable" position would be (and I use the term loosely), we give him a part pay off for the amount that the new club doesn't pay his existing wage.

Otherwise all he gets is a flat salary to do nothing. No chance to earn bonuses for scoring etc. So short sighted if true.

He actually has to train and do some cursory form of work for his money if he moves elsewhere though..

Don't pay the bastards contract up.Make him train with the under 21s. travel to all their games and fine him a weeks wages for every session missed. We will soon get his wages back , and by January he will be begging to go. The piece of dirt.

Letting some other club pay half of adebadbuyor's wages saves around 1.5m to 2m for THFC compared to just letting him play on his xbox all year. For penny pinching Levy to take this kind of hit - how many promising deals have we lost for smaller amounts of cash??? - indicates emotional non-rational decision taking place at the end of the window - who would have thought that, eh?

Just put the **** through the football equivalent of Navy SEAL's hell week every week, brutally tough training schedules with a personal trainer that makes the drill instructor in Full Metal Jacket seem like a big girls blouse, make life as tough for him as possible and he will be begging to leave

Ha, the response to JJs tweet pretty much sums this place up: Levy haters/pessimists jumping straight to "ain't no sunshine", BSoDL/optimists going straight for "Lovely Day". Got to love it in here! :)

And, as per usual, the Gingers got it wrong.

JJ has a strong following for a reason, he doesn't blow smoke up your arse.

If he is posting positively, there is a very good reason. His track record, which has been virtually flawless over the past few seasons, reinforces that.
