Positives are we have strengthened our first team (Alderwiereld, Son). Bought pace and shifted serious deadwood.

Downside is we are light up front and quality wise in midfield. Let's hope Son and N'Jie can bang a few in when needed. They should be more productive than Bobby and Ade regardless. Hopefully Dembele can step up as well!

I feel for Lloris, and for the ones who joined at the club, we are not ambitious on any level whatsoever. I feel cheated, and this is just a hobby for me, for once I am feeling sorry for the overpaid primadonnas. This kind of shoddy behaviour on the part of Levy affects the image of Spurs as a club, and might affect the future incoming.

I'm not angry we didn't get Berahino. Or Moutinho, or Luis Fabiano ..Damiao ..Rossi ..Schneiderlin ..Witsel.. or who ever else. I accept these are usually hard deals to do.

I'm mad that the alternative when they fail is always...nobody.

I'm mad that for instance Watford signed Obbi Oulare today for £6m. Maybe he's not the guy.

But I am certain that there were CMs and CFs who moved this summer - who we could afford - and would have strengthened the squad.

So now the 13th biggest club in world football goes into a season with only 1 striker.

So we need Njie and Son to score more goals than Adebayor and Soldado did last season. How will they ever do that?

We don't have a good squad. Squads are about balance, a good blend of positions, youth and experience. We don't have that.

Mate they didn't string us a long. We didn't meet their asking price, simple as that. We employed the usual tactics of trying to bully them into selling for less but it just served to harden their stance.

He's got no-one to keep him on his toes.

Not saying he's going to be out of form all season but hardly started well and he can play how he wants knowing he won't have any threat to his place.
