Appreciate that but as I understand it we are yet to meet face to face with the player

I've heard of a story where the agent didn't even know what his own player was like. The buying club's manager was understandably stunned.

Now, which club has proper DM/CM that can be got on loan...Javi Martinez was mentioned yesterday somewhere (who has recovered from ACL) comes to mind - but can't see it happenning this late in the window...

Javi Martinez is no chance in hell. I am Bayern supporter (2nd team) and follow that pretty closely. He hasnt made a lot appearances the last two years and is again out until October at least. Bayern won't let him go.

I can't see Berahino happening, the £36m Utd just sounded on Martial probably just strengthened Peace's resolve and added another £5m on to the price.

I mean the circumstances are not even remotely alike. Martial fairly happy to stay, signed new deal etc. Berahino done everything but actually strike.

I am underwhelmed with Berahino to be honest, I am not sure if he's the answer

Witsel now at 1/14 to stay at Zenit. Rabiot 1/5 to stay at PSG. I was hoping for either of these two. With Fazio looking to stay, I don't think we'll pick up another CM. But Berahino is the absolute priority so still positive

I think we can get away without a new DM this season, but a back up striker for Kane is a total necessity-don't see how we are covered for cup games without one. Hopefully bera does come off- however Peace seems adamant he won't deal with us whatever pulis thinks, so we'd damn well better have an alternative target.

Midfield just as important for me. If we don't strengthen then it's two from three of Bentaleb, Mason and Dier until at least January which would be underwhelming. We are a couple of players away from a really decent squad. Fingers crossed but as always no expectations.

Chelsea have signed Djilobodji. Better than Nobodji I suppose.

I'll get my coat - which would have been useful before I walked out the door and got drenched!

Personally very hopeful of Berahino. God knows on DM.

Alli, Winks, Onomah all play there. Apparently so does Dembele too

I think the opposite. United Spending £36m could appear that they feel that there is any value elsewhere.

The fact that United don't appear to have contacted WBA to inquire about a Home-Grown player with PL experience could be used to highlight to Peace that he is over valuing SB.

Player transfer markets move with very small bets, you could move both of those to odds without much financial outlay

I think a DM is equally as important. Either position is very fragile should one of Kane/Dier get injured. In fact Dier is not even a natural in that Role, at least Kane is. Both need to be addressed!
