I don't recall the window closing early when we got VDV but may be mistaken. I seem to recall staying up really late when SSN said they have something about Spurs and a Dutch international. I'm sure it was like my bedtime when that happened.

Window closed at 6pm, deadline for submitting paperwork was 6pm but the dodgy fax machine at WHL was playing up so we had to wait for confirmation the transfer would be allowed.

Back to the topic of convo, ITK has given us quite the lottery for deadline day:
Illaramendi/Kramer/Bender/Rode
Berahino/Austin/other...no-one.

One hopes our squad doesn't feature only Eric Dier as the DM on the 2nd and Kane our only striker.

If you've been reading the ITK you'd notice that they basically have unanimously said that there is NO interest in Austin.

Thing is if berahino does not join us who is our forward back up plan? No mention from ITK regarding other forwards, I reckon we would go in late for austinon last day of transfer deadline day. He is a top professional who would work his socks off for poch, I know it would be difficult to fit him in first eleven but would offer competition for Kane plus we could have 60 plus games again this season

Chill out. I haven't seen the positive ITK him, only time I've seen his name mentioned it's been shot down. Fair enough if I've missed it. If you want Spurs to sign someone because it would make another fan "shit out of their eyes" (whatever that means) you've got an odd criteria for wanting players.
