Both deals are looking more and more distant now and i concur with that goat.
Neither are technically Off but as of today both are not looking likely or that they will happen.
Its been very difficult to get players out of clubs and that includes our ones leaving as well.
Things change quickly blah blah blah but lets hope things do change on this and we are successful.
See what happens when i be positive about deals! I'm much better pooh poohing.

I know how this works. Once September arrives any calls for Levy's head are then poo-poo'd for other, magic reasons. Basically, the position of the BSoDL is NEVER call for Levy's head. Or criticise him for that matter.

I will be extremely surprised if we sign anyone else in this window. A few weeks back I was confident on getting a couple in but with this new itk coming to light it has all but diminished any hope I had. I'm afraid it's looking like the same old story as usual. Yes I don't know the complete details of each failed transfer but if we can't get the managers top target which is pivotal to his system then that's extremely disappointing. It's not a coincidence that in pretty much every window we leave it late.

This time I'm not too worried. We've signed players in positions we needed. It's not a Nelsen and Saha window.

i'd stick with what we have for now as midfield options if MS doesn't happen. There is quality in there that can be unlocked with proper coaching i reckon. Defence is another matter though. Hope we've got a backup plan for MM.

The MS & MM deals have looked unlikely for sometime.

- MM started that friendly, his manager's messages increased in confidence etc. He's traveled to EL game.
- MS, some have underestimated their chairman (and our own). He publicly stated MS was not going anywhere so unless it was a really absurd offer (which Levy wouldn't contemplate), why would their chairman undermine himself in such a way?

I am more interested in who we sell and whether we can line up an alternative to MM because the third party issue is not going to disappear. Lets move on as we need an experienced right sided CB IMO.

We needed a back up keeper, a left back and a centre back. We bought them. Other signings would be nice but right now we have more players than a lunch match in a school playground.
