ITK suggests we agreed to pick him up as a fall back option when MS didn't look like happening. He was actually Southamptons back up option if MS ever left, so highly rated by them as well.

When MS left recently how comes they never went for him? they went instead for some guy have never heard of

Rooney was a liability. Shagging prostitutes, chewing gum on tv etc...
Yeah but is he now? The point I was making is just because a young player makes a mistake doesn't mean they will be trouble all through their career.

It was tongue in cheek mate.
Young men are mostly idiots. Toss in fame and unlimited money they are sometimes total idiots. They grow up though.

Got Mid East move all over it for 2016/17
Maybe, but does Ade want to leave England for a move to the Mid East or China? He's been here a long time now. Can't wait until he's off he books and we don't even need to give a shit.

We were just a stepping stone. :(

A lot of people have already mentioned it, that there's a real touch of 'conspiracy theory' about this one.
I mean he was a last minute signing and then hardly played for us at all, most of us saying he's technically very good but often too slow and laboured.
Plus several people have pointed out his individual warming up routines even when we wasn't playing.
So, was he injured? Was he fatigued? Did we do a deal with PSG (via Montpellier) saying we'll buy him now, get him fit and then you can have him (for a profit ofcourse!)?
Stranger things have happened!

He's not a team-player. I've never once got that sense from him. That's my main concern.

I'd actually rather Moses between the two (gun to head) as he is blood and guts for the team.

Nothing wrong with blood and guts this is something we have lacked in the past but individual brilliance win games.
Allied together we have the makings of a good team.

The thing is Ade will want a certain wage because he is already earning a certain wage. Rightly or wrongly I think most of us could understand not wanting to go to a new job for less money. Which is why he wants his sweetener. Well, that and because he will be living and working in Birmingham.

Now we can all say that he should just want to play football but let's face it how many modern players care if they aren't playing as long as they get paid a lot? I would say that there are lots of players who are happy to be part of the squad and get the cash.

Is it Ade's fault he earns so much? Nope, that is the club's he has played fors fault.

The problem for me with him is that we have this striker in our books who when he can be arsed is a fantastic talent, but who has, and I'm being generous here , only turned it on in about 25% of his games for us. Remember his solo goal against Chelsea? Imagine having that player week in week out .

I've never given a shit about his Arsenal connection, as Gallas proved if you play well then people forget that shit, but I do care about a lack of effort.

So Ade, go on to pastures new , take the large amounts of cash and please score against everyone else but us.

Ah fuck it, what am I saying, just stop being a money grabbing **** and go.

I can't help but notice a slight contradiction in tone in the above post. I was going to hit a massive winner until the last 2 sentences muddled my brain a little. I agree that perhaps after a certain time, this unique job is but a job - and the income plays a huge role in this job, as does perhaps all the romantic stuff like winning and doing things with style. But you will always get some players / earners who value their income more than their place - and this goes for every industry.

You've never heard of Clasie?

Very vaguely, i don't watch any football outside of the premiership and the occasional La Liga game, its a name that probably cropped up in passing but i know nothing about him

Never heard of? He played in every game for Holland in the last World Cup.

Aah thanks, i only watched the England games and a bit of the final, my football interest does not go much beyond Spurs

Seems strange that we made no known move for him considering he was within our pricing structure, and that we are still searching for the midfield berth.

JJ on Moses happening:
@jetsetyid: How does Moses make his coffee?
Hebrews it ....
FFS I'll get me cost.
Ps #dontbelievethehype

JJ on Ade leaving:
@jetsetyid: @FKettle_Witch looking promising ...

This (#dontbelievethehype) is a twitter account not a statement.
I don't think it's relevant to the Berahino ITK.
