I think that's uncalled for. I for one disagree with you.

When it comes to the "Pochettino has the players he wants" debate, I think that's only partially true. He has some, and increasingly more, players he wants, but still loads of players he doesn't really want to use that much IMO.

Just like all managers then, bit of a pointless argument.

We have four players in Bentaleb, Njie, Fazio, and Pritchard who probably played less games than Kane did on his own.

We, hopefully, will have bought in three players who will feature heavily in the starting eleven and/or as first choice sub.
As a result we are going to be better off than last season so it doesn't matter about potential ceilings for players as they are not ready now and are slipping down the pecking order.

If we are desperate enough to need a 4th/5th choice player then Onomah, Winks, Edwards etc have done enough to do this bit part job.

Contrast this with the seeming chaos of our rivals, unable to secure players or vastly overpaying, we can just sit back and enjoy the ride which has been all of our transfer window wishes for a long time.
And the pressure on these players to transform their respective team into title challengers will be huge whereas we are back to looking at 4-6th with anything else a bonus (as last season was).

Because you object so strongly to a different viewpoint, I wouldn't be surprised if you also object to individuals with a different skin colour, or a different religion, or people speaking a different language. You need to be more tolerant and accepting of differences in people. It's what leads to a harmonious society - not a hate-filled one.

And I'm surprised at those of you that gave the post a Winner rating (and other positive ratings from other posters). You do understand that these comments also reflect on you. Aggressive bullying is not a funny matter.

Here are some suggestions -

* Edwards new contract
* Pritchard's bridges not being burned at this time
* Pritchard still being available for sale
* The possible sale of Chadli, Mason and Bentaleb

Why not try and have an honest discussion on any of these matters (or other ITK points) instead of putting down a fellow member of Spurs Community for expressing a point different from your own?

I hear you. But if you read my post you'd see that I said that I wouldn't be surprised if 'Hot Spur' was also intolerant of people with a different skin colour, a different religion or who spoke a different language. That's a reasonable extrapolation when someone has posted an article that is so intolerant of another's point of view. I'm not saying that he's any of those things. I'm saying that 'Hot Spur' may carry that intolerance for different ideas into other realms.

This is a discussion forum where different points of view should be the norm. That's what makes this forum interesting. The aggressive posting by 'Hot Spur' was uncalled for.

Twelve SC contributors rated that outlandish, bullying rant as 'Winner'. That's disappointing to see. Perhaps it's an indication of the world in which we live. I prefer a kinder more tolerant world.

As this is the ITK thread I suggest that we talk about some of the recent ITK now.

I understand from recent ITK that Pritchard is not totally out of it if he buckles down and works hard to show that he really wants a place in the first team squad. My hope is that he'll do just that. He had a terrific season a couple of years ago and was part of the first team squad before last season started and then he got injured. So it would seem that at that point the coach rated Pritchard. Something must have happened between then and the end of his loan spell at WBA to change the coach's opinion. I wonder what that was. Perhaps the Club suggested that he go on loan to a team in the Championship and Pritchard baulked and insisted on the loan to WBA. And we know how successful that was.

It would be very interesting to know what happened between his injury and return to the club that has caused Pritchard to be on the outs with Pochettino.
