Delighted for Pochettino's new deal. Security is a wonderful thing!
While I suspect he's done (Rose aside, Pochettino has no patience for messing about), there'd be a certain poetic justice in Alderweireld getting an extension as his performances deserve, but at the lowest £ increase of anyone - even Carter-Vickers.
Burkinshaw? He'll easily be the longest serving in my lifetime, anyway.
Now I'm conflicted, though. Part of me really likes the thought of him having no choice but to agree terms of the contract that we upped our offer to, but he turned down. But part of me kind of hopes he (or his agent) end up being told to fuck off and he's left in limbo.
