Am I the only person would that easily prefer Leandro to Benteke and would spend more to get him? I think he's the complete striker and has the potential to rip this league apart. I fear that Benteke could potentially be a one season wonder.

One is proven in this League and the other isn't. I think Benteke is only going to get better and he already looks the real deal now.

Can't speak for anyone else, but I've seen a good bit of Leandro, and I just think he is garbage. I would say overrated, but I don't honestly think anyone rates him other than Spurs. Add to that the fact he would almost certainly take a substantial time to adapt to the league, the country, the language, etc.
Benteke could be argued to be a one season wonder had he been playing for a better team, but Villa? Really? He carried them. He has the physical attributes for the PL, he has the experience, etc. Not only is he vastly more likely to make an immediate impact, he is (in my humble opinion of course) not just a better prospect than Leandro but a much, much, much better player.

I don't think it helps playing for a team that was nearly relegated! Can you imagine Adebayor at Villa!? He's bad enough at a top 4-5 club. I think benteke would be a sensation with the service our team would provide him.
