After last night it's blatently clear DL needs to get the fucking finger out for what little remaining time there is to this window...a lot of you are saying "oh, we can't do deals quickly, these things take time"...that didn't stop us getting VDV in a 5 fucking hour window or whatever it was.

For those that critique every fucking thing Harry does and use any excuse to have a pop, there is one thing that should help you have a little fucking faith in the guy and that's Brad Friedel. The only signing we've made and it was a doozie, Gomes must rightfully be shitting himself, as there will be fierce competition.

Obviously could have used Diarra and Adebayor on the pitch last night, in fact you could argue that CM and CF was ultimately where we lost the game, makes you wonder why after having being linked with these players since Jan at least that we didn't have anything done that would have enabled them to play in what's probably the most difficult fixture of the season.

By fuck if that performance last night hasn't lit a fire under DL's arse then I don't know what will, that's the kind of quality in depth you need to be real fucking title contenders.

It's as simple as this, there needs to be something official announced very soon, and it needs to be a fair bit more than Adebayor and Diarra.

Is due to the court case coming up and as the rumour around is they wana make an example of him tottenhams and harrys legal teams have asked him to say the chairmen deals with these negotations just to cover the club and him.

That's very impressive righteous anger there but what does it have to do with any ITK?

If you wish to piss and moan about last night or how Levy runs the club please can you go and do it elsewhere.

Not sure how many years Adebayor has left on his contract but if it's two years from us signing him next season we won't want to sign him on only a two year deal but we won't want to match his City wages for four years and I suspect he won't be happy to drop his wages from day one so if we sign him on our wage package from day one with two years made up from City that would be a good compromise, we just need to convince City which is what, I guess, we are trying to do.

It's not a no brainer though is it mate. Who is going to make up the shortfall of probably 100k per week???

Couldn't we offset that shortfall with a big signing on fee...we must've done that before?

Adebayor needs to be realistic too, the bigger fish have not come in for him thus far, so he can't expect to command 170k a week

Just think a player of his ability for this sort of money doesn't come along all that often.

The more I hear about this transfer window the more I suspect that we won't do anything until the last day. I don't know whether that's by our choice, or simply because every club is waiting to see who blinks first, but apart from Diarra I don't expect us to sign anyone before next week.

So when you say we won't do anything until the last day, what you actually mean is we will do something...Diarra?

Personally I thought our first half last night was actually very good, despite the fact our central midfield partnership was pants.

If we sign Diarra (see, this post is related to ITK) then we will be in that much better shape.

Well judging by Harry's comments to the BBC last night, looks as if he is now saying we might as well bring players in and if we cant sell others on, then they just sit outside the 25 man squad.

Not ideal but hopefully this attitude could see Diarra and Adebayor come sooner rather than later.

welcome to my world! cant believe people actually thought we wud sign anyone this summer before season started. sometimes i think people should take off the i love everything spurs we are a big club bullshit been honest.

whatever slant posters want to put on it we are not an attraction to top top players., we dont pay good wages for the players who make a difference, we have an extremely annoying and stingy chairman, and players who are at the club and even in first 11 who are so over rated and sitting on big fat contracts twho put in minimal effort and talk the talk and more importantly have no intention of budging from the club anytime soon.

31st of aug/ september 1st should be very very interesting. will be extremely suprised if we sign more than 2 players from this very minute.
