If the Journalist's info is on the money and the paperwork was sent off then that's a hugely positive sign. That, coupled with The Goat's information (esp the source) gives me a slight twitching in the pantaloon area.

I am a bit more positive about it than I was last night but as with all transfers you just never know!

If all the paperwork got sent off, Chelsea could believe they have completed a deal only to find out that his registration has already gone though which would be utterly hilarious.

More likely is that, Chelsea have a put a bid in just as we were sending the paperwork off and Anzhi have backed out to try and get more money. I'm sure this whole thing will drag on a little, but I really wish we could have got this done earlier.

Is that really fair on Willian though? There's no clear suggestion that he doesn't want to join us.

Who knows what's really going on, but it could be the case that he really wants to sign for Spurs and is just as irritated as the rest of us that Anzhi and/or his agents are trying to put that in jeopardy.

By all accounts Cheslea contacted Anzi with the improved offer. Sadly, that makes it legit.

There's no evidence he does want Spurs either. Just ITK. But I imagine the Chelsea interest has turned his head away from Spurs now.

It's not fair to drop the bid for Willian as it is not his fault. But forget his feelings. This is business. This is his agent. He could tell him to stop being difficult and ruining his move. Doesn't seem to be doing that though.

He could always sack his agent...

We don't know that though, AVB has always been a fan of Willian. Could have been a target all along.
