you truly are an idiot. SC has gotten very cult like with Poch that one criticism makes you a target of massive hate. Wonder whats gonna happen when he either leaves for a bigger club or struggles mightily. Gonna be fun to watch the 180 this place takes.
Nobody has a issue with criticising him. Several posters level criticisms regularly but they are erudite and, agree or not, with basis. People take umbrage with our manager's risk averse tactics, persistence with favourites and shyness to introduce youth products, all of which are controversial views but all of which are at least understandable in certain contexts.

You go on tirades of criticism, not just against Pochettino, but against anything that contravenes what you think you know about football. I emphasise the word 'think', because I can't imagine you've been following football very long, nor that you'd even heard of Spurs a decade ago. That's fine, new fans learning about Spurs and about football is welcome, but your sensationalist attitude and black and white understanding on what should and shouldn't be is ridiculous and more appropriate for someone following Vince McMahon's 'Rasslin'.

You got a win for a spine tingling use of erudite alone.

At this point i think people need to keep their expectations in check. The window closes at 11pm next Wednesday and i would be surprised if we brought in anyone other then Lopez and Nkoudou (even that looks to be a struggle). Im sure we are looking around for potential options but speed is not one of Levy's strong points, obviously thats not to say things are moving behind the scenes, but a few sales is the most i am realistically expecting before the window closes.

I just don't understand how some posters see things in such black and white. Leicester won the league last year with players who 12 months ago nobody here would have had in our squad, football complicated than 'buy shiny new player, win everything'.

Agree fans are obsessed with transfers. Even if we never heard of player. But the history of the prem shows the teams that spend the most money finish the highest. Leicester are a complete freak that can't be explained. Put it this way, we have a better chance of finishing higher if we had Bale than say Eriksen,

Agreed, but if we're not in a position to improve on Alli, Eriksen and Lamela, which is something most teams would struggle with, then we improve on their alternatives I.e. Chadli, Son and Njie as it stands with players who may develop into being better than the first xi. Given the types we are linked too, this seems to be our chosen route.. Zaha, Munir, Nkoudou, all young players with high ceilings who have at wleast shown themselves to be technically adept. We are also seemingly looking within, with Onomah being used consistently off the bench and Edwards edging closer.

My gut is that Chadli will leave, Son and Njie will get another season, one of the linked players will sign. The result, a refreshed group of options, alternative style of player, and a better balanced, deeper squad. Considering how good we already are, I'll definitely take that.

Lloris Vorm Lopez
Walker Trippier
Alderweireld Carter-Vickers
Vertonghen Wimmer
Rose Davies
Dier Wanyama
Dembele Mason Winks
Lamela Zaha/Munir/Nkoudou
Alli Son
Eriksen Njie Onomah
Kane Janssen

That's a fucking good squad in my book.

My favourite bits of ITK were cabbages because it drove everyone insane

Insane......... Insane..... You have no idea A&C, You have no idea.

On the bright side the man in the long white coat says that I can be released from my straight jacket next month as long as I keep improving and don't keep spouting on about c_c_c_abbages.
