Instead of thinking being linked to all these players must mean Bale is off, why not look at it as finally the penny has dropped with DL and JL if we speculate this season and have a go at not only top four but challenge for the title then our stock and profile rises round the world, which in turn means bigger sponsorship and maybe the chance to get the money for our new stadium.

Even though I am finding it hard to think that this is the case I prefer to live in my optimistic world at the minute instead of the real world.

If we can agree the upfront payment then that is the key step.

Levy sanctioning an 18m upfront payment (albeit presumably in instalments) is a good sign that he wants this one done.

I thought that the TwatterChatter was all myth and no miracle?

Well yes and no. First reported by lequipe, initially there were no collaborating reports coming from anywhere. slowly though, this has started to pick up a bit of pace with two respected Brazilian journos saying its in the works, including duarte from the guardian. while the reports of a medical being done may have been premature, those expecting us to sign bernard on top of soldado (hopefully) and chadli are a bit delusional IMO.

Thats what I was thinking. Just amazing how wildly different the story's can be.
