£10m for Allen sounds really fair. We only in terms of the market, what other plays go for, and his value to Swansea.
Maybe not this window, but a clear favourite of ours in the future.
A dutch translation of the highwayman by Alfred Noyes? Hmmm...

Most laughed at the mention of Joe Alen on here a couple of months back. Sure, he's not Modric but he's done a fuckton more in the prem at 21 than Modric ever had. Will he be another Modric type - that influential, that skillful? Maybe not but there's a reasonable possibility that he could become one or at least on a comparable level.
18 months to go yet until he reaches the age Modric was when he joined us. At his age, in the right club and caoching environment he could improve a hell of a lot.
EDIT: I'm an illiterate plum.
Tim Krul is the only connection I can find. Tim the Ostler is one of the characters in The Highwayman
The Highwaymen were an American supergroup comprising four country music artists well known for, among other things, their involvement and pioneering influence on the outlaw country subgenre: Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, and Kris Kristofferson.
