To be honest, I don't think it even needs to be completed now. Adiepf's already been proved right in my eyes: his info was clearly solid - there's been altogether too much stuff about Fabiano since for that not to be the case - and we all know transfers can go tits up late doors.

Just a shame that it sounds like he'll only have a brief window of ITK. He's been top drawer these last few days: clear, confident info, and he's stuck to his guns throughout.
exactly, ive had the pleasure of receiving ( :snigger: ) info via PM from him for a while and i can vouch for him, top info and a nice fella, glad he's on our board

Indeed. Adiepf's source is top quality, and really not who or what you'd expect.

I think Toivonen would be good, but I think he is a backup to someone that we might only be able to get with a win tomorrow. Otherwise surely we would have signed him already or at least made a move. He isn't going to be hanging on CL to decide whether to move to us. Premiership would surely be a big enough draw.

I agree the Prem is a step up but if Liverpool are also in for him, he may wait to see if we get CL as it may be the tipping point between us and Liverpool. In reallity i'm not convinced by our link to Toivonen and i'm waiting to see what happens with our outgoings, surely to bring in Fab we'd ship one, any more comming in and that would have to see another go. Keane and Crouch the only ones being linked with moves away meaning we'll lose creativity and a target man and replace them with a goal poacher - we'd need to get someone in who fills both the target man and producer role (like Berbatov i guess) is Toivy that man? I don't know anything about him.

It will be very interesting to see if, primarily, Fabiano gets in the team later on this evening, but also, if he gives a farewell wave to the fans, as is usually the case with outgoing players.

Massive, massive game for Sevilla, regardless.

Well I am hoping Fabiano comes off and Sevilla get knocked out of the cup by Braga.

I would love Diarra at the lane as we need someone more mobile than Wilson whom I agree with a previous poster has changed since his brother died (who wouldn't :( ).

I think now we also require a top quality RB and if Ajax get knocked out of Champs League then I hope we can go for Van Der Wiel.

The only thing that is preventing me from getting to carried away with the Fabinio info is that if we are really just a few days from signing him then surely the big UK press outlets (bbc sport, sky sports etc..) would be reporting something pretty solid?? Especially as we are talking about a high profile player.

We have four right backs, four, Corluka is a quality right back and him staying at the club is vital in keeping Modric happy and importantly here... Walker is also a very good prospect so why push him further down the pecking order?

A la Klinsmann and Modric you mean?

The press doesn't always get to know about this info and only usually have something solid when there is a medical about to happen etc.

Agreed, plus all the other ITKs only started reporting it after Adiepf

Do we expect a rival bid to lure him away?

Yes Hutton should be sold, Walker kept to learn, but for me Charlie is slow and doesn't give us a cutting edge going forward. Just need someone mobile and that doesn't look flat-footed.

Is Kaboul the 4th? If so, he is a CB and was pushed there to cover by Harry. On a side note Kaboul was impressive v Stoke.
