No round-up again today. Sorry.
Fingers crossed it'll be back Monday.

Meanwhile, chat about wether we are a big club or not and other loose chit-chat aren't what this thread is for is it?

A couple of times, requests were made by the mods yesterday to at least try and keep this thread as on topic as possible which were ignored.

Please bear in mind that this thread is for the discussion of ITK. If you want to know where someone comes from or wether they look good in a Japanese Admiral's uniform and stockings, send them a PM. If you want to talk about wether Harry or Levy are to blame for our lack of signings so far, there's plenty of threads in Spurs Chat.

And so on and so forth

I'm sure you get the drift.

Have you donated to SC yet?

All the ITK yesterday seemed to be of a negative nature, dismissing we are in for players or suggesting there is a rift between Harry and Levy and we are not close to signing anyone as of yet.

I'd say that we probably aren't on the verge of a signing right now, but I think its common sense assumption more than ITK and the Harry/Levy rift has been mentioned before so anyone could just say they heard something to "confirm" this.

I still think when we do eventually sign someone it is just as likely to come out the blue with no "ITK" even picking up on it.

I remember people claiming to know we have signed players (Lukaku and the Barca younsters) that still have not come off whilst no one seemed to pick up on the Friedel deal before it was announced.

So it wouldn't surprise me at all if we announced a deal before anyone really confirmed it (although many could lay claim to ITK on some level as somewhere at some point pretty much every player we could possibly sign has been linked via ITK)

Nah, It was flacid

Nothing is happening fellas. Go outside and take in some sun!

Come on guys!
Its far too early for Spurs to make any signings. Its not going to be 5pm on the 31st August for a long time yet!

It didn't have the normal thick consistency did it?

"Fun time Friday!!!!!"......(said whilst crying madly into my morning coffee!!!)

[/LEFT]

Totally.... So who would you rather see in that uniform described? Bomber or SP?

Cahill, Parker, N'Zogbia, Adebayor, Rossi.

Simples.....

We're gonna make a signing today. I can feel it in Bombers cock.

Cool, if that means i won't have to trawl through 25 pages for no result I'm cool with that. Big day today, I can feel it in my bones!

NOT IN THIS THREAD.

Chat elsewhere; posts deleted.

There was some itk last weekend that Modders was going to release a statement to dampen down the speculation, words to the effect that he was misquoted by the mail and telegraph. Any sign of this? I think we'd all feel a bit happier if he put this to bed, for this summer at least.

didn't ryentegan post ITK about Sandro being sold but then said it was unbelieveable? Or was he commenting on a Goal article?

I think Modric's apology will now come in the form of not moving until next summer now.

Forlan's price is now quoted at £7m rather than the £25m we were given in Jan

And for the reason being that he has been poor last season hasnt he?

IMO i think we were lucky not to get him, i think there are better options than him now that are younger and with a better sell on value

I'll be disappointed if Luka doesn't make a statement at least mitigating his comments - that will be by far the most effective way of stopping or at least lessening this daily speculation that drives us all nuts.

Agreed. But he did look the nuts at the WC.

I was questioning the report in today's mirror. Complete shit

Cheers

He was commenting on an article in the mirror about Sandro leaving for £12m, basically saying it was rubbish.

Thanks.

I agree. £12m for the future captain of Brazil is insulting.

Paris, and now Palacios

Team Info. PSG would have begun negotiations with Tottenham for Wilson Palacios replacing Claude Makelele. Reportedly, the discussions took place between the new shareholders of Qatar and envoys from Tottenham. The defensive midfielder, under contract with Spurs until 2014, does not seem opposed to a start. Bought 15 million euros to Wigan in January 2009, the Honduran international is not worth much less today. Enabling this track confirms that the PSG tends to neglect the one that led to Blaise Matuidi, the defensive midfielder from Saint-Etienne assessed by the club between 13 and 15 million.

Palacios to PSG would be a good move for both him and them. For us

Wonderfully reputable source brimming with quotes and evidence, ahem, but makes for good reading all the same:

http://footybunker.com/tottenham-hotspur-on-verge-of-signing-two-strikers/4740

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on two strikers identified by Harry Redknapp as must-buys for the next season with Espanyol’s Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Lyon’s Lisandro López on the verge of joining the North London side.

Redknapp is desperate to complete the deals for both Argentine’s so he can begin off loading those no longer required including Robbie Keane who has already been linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers. Spurs are also wanting to sell Kranjcar and Pavlyuchenko with Palacios’ move to Italian Serie A side Napoli all but confirmed.

Tottenham initially wanted to purchase at least one striker during the January transfer window but prices were high and Redknapp and Levy felt it best to wait until now to make their moves. They are in a position to purchase both goal scorers however will need to offload other players to make the payments to both Lens and Espanyol.

Lisandro is likely to cost around £18m although there is still some discussion regarding a move due to the fact he would prefer Champions League football. Osvaldo has really come from nowhere but the 25 year old has impressed many English teams in the short space of time he has been with the Spanish side and looks to now be on the move to White Hart Lane after joining the La Liga side in 2010.

It is believed that the likes of Lisandro and Osvaldo linking up with Peter Crouch and Rafael van der Vaart could have devastating effects in the Premiership next season and the transfers are likely to be completed and confirmed at the beginning of July.
