its inevitable that modric will leave if we dont act THIS Summer.

Absolutely. We needed a top class striker last summer, didn't get one. We needed one in January, didn't get one. If we don't get one now, we might as well just sell Modric this summer while his value is still high. I'm not joking.

hi will be worth just as much next summer. if clubs are selling likes of ashley young for 16 to 20 million with only one year left whats modric on 4 years? he is top class and when he goes we will get at least 35 million. but i know what your saying. if we dont sign top quality this ummer we never will and will be the end of spurs at top end of table for years to come.

good morning peeps

just my opinion Forlan is a very good striker but is now to old for us and is also lacking form how ever if the price is seven million there is a reasonable possibillity that Harry and Daniel may fancy him at that price

Modric will be what it will be beyond our control, just chill and hope the club stand there ground or they get a unbelivable fee won't really help but just dull the pain slightly.

the daily mail is on par with the daily and sport you get about as much factual and truth in them as youv'e chance of seeing Jordan giving head to the Dali Lama on sunday morning in Trafalgar square in front the Pope whose eating Mcdonalds with Gaddaffi a little over the top but you get my point as the club have openly stated Modric,Bale,Sandro are not for sale

Our club will make signing's this summer as only Tottenham do so relax take all the itk and press rubbish enjoy it take with huge amounts of salt
and wait for the os to announce said transfers.

 very sorry so long winded also wanted to say thanks to those who supply all the itk keeps me entertained.

What I find troubling is the fact that we seem so hesitant to just get it done. There a plenty of strikers out there and we've had enough time to identify them. If you look at past transfer windows we've spent pretty much every time. A combined 40m on Keane, Defoe and Palacios. God knows how much the summer we signed Bentley Modric and Pav (despite an offset with the Berba sale). 16.5m on Bent. We haven't spent big since January 2008, and we've had CL in the meantime, so I refuse to believe the issue is financial. What's going on?

Am I alone in thinking selling Wilson is not a good idea...if Sandro gets injured early on we will have no one to step in and be the enforcer...or do we want Mr 50's Footballer Hair himself Scott Parker for that.

I think we're worried about his mentality, long term future and the fact that he's pretty much gone backwards.

Tom, Jenas ahead of him, with probably SP to come in. Sell, sell, sell IMO

Wilson is good at tackling, but getting the ball and passing he is weak as anything and this often undermined his performances last season.

He was great in side which needed the defensive qualities but in a side where we usually attack and play with the ball he was a liability.

Well to be honest if we sold Palacios then Parker would come in and im as confident in Parker as I would be in Palacios so there isnt much to worry about for me!

i'm not that sure about selling palacios

He wont be getting game time with us anymore, and if parker is coming in, probably not even going to be on the bench!

I think Wilson, JJ will go and Niko, leaving us with Modric, Sandro, Huddleston, VDV, Peinaar, and if we do sign Parker then we have 6 players able to play CM and all would probably get ahead of him.

if the money is good then sell him, he has done the job we needed when we got him, but we have now improved on him, and sandro is a clear step up
