Am I alone in thinking selling Wilson is not a good idea...if Sandro gets injured early on we will have no one to step in and be the enforcer...or do we want Mr 50's Footballer Hair himself Scott Parker for that.

Very much not alone.

I think we're worried about his mentality, long term future and the fact that he's pretty much gone backwards.

Tom, Jenas ahead of him, with probably SP to come in. Sell, sell, sell IMO

Didn't look too backwards in the San Siro ?

Hooray, the obligatory Lisandro Lopez link. I think we just need to be linked to Dave to complete the set.

Parker for Palacios with cash over seems to be the way the club wants to move, and while I don't see it personally, I will trust their judgement.

whose better jenas or palacios?

i would go for jenas

Overall game, JJ, his pass's may go backwards a fair amount of the time but i think we keep the ball more with him, thought IMO not as good as breaking up play. Saying that Hudd is getting better at being able to read the game and doing that so i would say Hudd over both

I'd sooner sell Jenas and Huddlestone before I let Wilson go.

I wouldnt, Wilson is great for breaking up play, but is poor (or was most the time) last season, IMO Hudd offers more than wilson thought not as good at breaking up play but alot better on the ball, same with JJ, just JJ not as good as Hudd IMO

Keep the Hudd over Jenas and Wilson for me. His passing ability is head and shoulders above either.

That's all he has got going for him.

We have plenty of players who can pass the ball as good if not better than Huddlestone.

It's time to be more dynamic as a team.

We can't afford to be cumbersome.

Wonderfully reputable source brimming with quotes and evidence, ahem, but makes for good reading all the same:

http://footybunker.com/tottenham-hotspur-on-verge-of-signing-two-strikers/4740

Tottenham Hotspur are closing in on two strikers identified by Harry Redknapp as must-buys for the next season with Espanyol’s Pablo Daniel Osvaldo and Lyon’s Lisandro López on the verge of joining the North London side.

Redknapp is desperate to complete the deals for both Argentine’s so he can begin off loading those no longer required including Robbie Keane who has already been linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers. Spurs are also wanting to sell Kranjcar and Pavlyuchenko with Palacios’ move to Italian Serie A side Napoli all but confirmed.

Tottenham initially wanted to purchase at least one striker during the January transfer window but prices were high and Redknapp and Levy felt it best to wait until now to make their moves. They are in a position to purchase both goal scorers however will need to offload other players to make the payments to both Lens and Espanyol.

Lisandro is likely to cost around £18m although there is still some discussion regarding a move due to the fact he would prefer Champions League football. Osvaldo has really come from nowhere but the 25 year old has impressed many English teams in the short space of time he has been with the Spanish side and looks to now be on the move to White Hart Lane after joining the La Liga side in 2010.

It is believed that the likes of Lisandro and Osvaldo linking up with Peter Crouch:eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg::eek:mg: and Rafael van der Vaart could have devastating effects in the Premiership next season and the transfers are likely to be completed and confirmed at the beginning of July.

FYP:grin:

SP would like to make it clear that he is happy where he is and not considering a move, but if a big boyhood club did come in he would consider his future, but would like to leave for triple wages while remaining friends with everyoneEek
